Thank you Daphne, Amber and Eva
My current little guy needs a "baseball" type cap.
I think like so many other occasions, when I needed just the right thing, I will do as you suggest and find pictures or examples and then make my own pattern.
It's challenging anyway...to fit a cap over bear ears  but that is what makes this so much fun.
I will post a pic if I get this figured out...
Thanks again !

Hello to all
Hope your summer is getting off to a good start. Here in Pacific Northwest (USA) we have not yet escaped the cool temperature and rain, rain, RAIN !
Need a bit of help. I am making smaller size bears, 4" to 7". I have lots of cute accessories but sometimes, to really finish them off, a cute hat or bonnet would be the perfect thing.
Do you make your own?....or is there a TTr who has this as their specialty?
Or do you know of any websites I can check?
Appreciate your help so much
Best Regards
Lee Ann
Hi
Not sure on this but if you add "width" to the forehead...would it help to also add width going down the back of the head? This way it wouldn't pull everything down so much into a triangle.
Also, maybe try adding some extra from the neck seam toward the back on the side pieces. In other words, not such a severe curve on the back of the head.
Trial and error, right? Try and try and try....that's how it seems to go with me
Good luck.

Tatiana , She is adorable ! Does anyone else see this??....she looks like you ! I think it is the eye shape.
Very very cute. Adorable little kitty

I agree with several of the above. When you put his head on his body, it won't look like two chins...
Very very cute design

Tammy - He is wonderful. I really like the way you did the ears.
Not only that, he's scrumptious all over

Hi Melisa
Thank you so much
I was determined to finish him this time....
Kind Regards,

Hello everyone
I must have run in to trouble with this little fellow. I believe I started him over a year ago ? I found him all in pieces in a bag marked "needs new head"
Finally, he is finished. Kaili' ( KYE-LEE ) is made of ivory and brown cross mink and brown sable mink. I found this vintage charm in an antique store recently.
I'm also having some fun trying to learn how to make better photos. There are so many effects available. Oh my.....so much to learn....so little time...
Thank you for stopping by to take a peek
He will be listed on ebay soon.
Warm regards,
Lee Ann
HI
That is the way I do my bear heads....Don't forget you will need a few darts in the piece so the "back" of your teddy bear head is rounded.

Lee Ann
They're lovely Tammy

Hi
If you want to "thin down" your collection, perhaps some of the lesser valued ones could be donated to your local Police/Fire Toy and Joy program or a local hospital? A teddy goes a long way in comforting a child in one of those situations. And if there are doll and teddy bear or craft shows in your area, sounds like you would have enough to participate several times  You're right....the fees to list that many bears one at a time would be pretty high, but in a collection that large, I'm sure you have some that are valuable.
Do you have any closer pictures? Maybe there are some TTrs who would recognize some of the ones you have
Best Regards

Hi !
This just happened to me for the first time also ! My feedback is 7 points shy of 100 and is 100% positive, so I was really confused about it. The buyer is 100% positive but around the 50s I think. I was instructed to ship immediately with a method I could track and stay in communication with the buyer. I have done both.
To date, I have not received one reply from the buyer nor any feedback.
How do you politely infer to your new collectors that feedback is very important?
I did this sale as a Buy it Now so I received immediate payment, and I do have confirmation of delivery.
Will this occur on every transaction now...going forward? Or just on the buy it now? or just until I reach 100?
Again - would love to hear from those who list often, how do you ask for feedback and stress its importance?
My funds do show in my account as available in 21 days...in "pending" status.
Best Regards

Oh Melisa !!! they are both so cute !!! The one pic of him in your hand brought tears to my eyes
Wonderful work !! How did you like working with the coyote fur? Is it alot different than mink?
Kind Regards,
Lee Ann
2.5" ?? !! Oh my, how do you ever create such a wonderful baby so small?
I am amazed ....
He has precious details and I love that he fits in the beautiful heart shaped box.
Very nice !

Don't try too hard to make everything exactly perfect. The bears that seem to attract people the most are the ones with a crooked smile or one ear lower than the other which gives them personality.
and
Have fun with it!
Warm Regards
Lee Ann
Hi
Sounds like you are receiving alot of good tips. I wanted to say the length of the fur definitely should be considered when you are planning what size of bear to make. A tiny bear will be impossible to turn right side out with very long fur.
Good luck !
Very very cute !! Love them both
I'm feeling the same way. Here it is March and I have only completed one bear
Take Care
