So cute! I really love his fuzzy head.
haha! Yes I think this one has many looks depending on how you place his head. Thanks for commenting Becky!
Oh she's beautiful! That face! Such a sweetheart.
This is biscuit. He was made quite a few months ago. He's 5 way thread jointed, has green euro glass eyes and as all my critters have...mohair eyelashes. Biscuit was made with Corriedale wool.
He's on eBay at the moment: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll … :MESELX:IT
WOW! I love him. His face is so expressive! I'm certainly not "in the know" about the technical side of bear making but I think you've done a great job with his mouth.
 Adorable! What a gorgeous pair these two make.
I really love your work Nichole! Stella is adorable and that cupcake...WOW!
I came across this pair on ebay tonight Joanne. Wow are they magnificent! You really are the definition of a bear artist.
Awww she's so cute! I can see why she'd be a hard one to give up. Best of luck with her auction!
 Love him Corrine! His expression is wonderful and I do like his toes.
Thanks so much for looking and for your comments everyone! It's been a while since i've sold on eBay. I know it's horribly slow there at the moment but i'll push on anyway.
Beautiful color and expression. I forgot to tell you how nice your website looks, I know you did a revamp, I never saw it before, but it looks great now.
Joanne
Thanks so much Joanne! It looked pretty similar before...I just did a banner change and updated the text on a lot of the pages. I appreciate the link swap too! I was on your site again yesterday showing my mum your bears. I have intentions of owning one one day.
I'm starting to get a little stockpile of critters in my house at the moment so it's time some of them went to a new home. The first to go is Fern. She's been needle felted with corriedale wool and is 5 way thread jointed. She has german glass eyes and mohair eyelashes. Around her neck is a silver organza ribbon with a little slice of key lime pie (I didn't make the pie).
She's on eBay at the moment.

Love this Amy! I love your bunnies...even if they do turn zombie from time to time.
Very good ideas Becky and Robin! I think I could probably have a go at both and see what happens. Thanks so much for your input!
Sorry if this is a silly question.
I thread joint most of my needle felted critters. I'm wondering if anyone has tried or has been successful with any other form of jointing a completely needle felted piece? I have NO IDEA how cotter pin joints even work but do you think they would be possible to use? I don't want to use a wire armature to give me movement in limbs.
Thank you Birgitta!
GREAT tutorial Joanne! What a sweet bear you ended up with too. I'll be updating my website very shortly so if you are interested, i'll contact you to organise a website link swap?
You said in the tutorial that the nose is waxed. I've never done that on any of my work. I've seen the blocks of wax to do it...do you just rub it on the nose or is there more to it than that?
Thank you so much everyone!
Pat - Yes all needle felted. :)
I got a MASSIVE surprise when I went in to see my critters at the fair/show today. I wasn't aware of it until I got there but there was an error with the online results. My giraffe and bunny both won awards in the needle felted category! My giraffe has a 1st place blue ribbon attached and my bunny had a 2nd place red ribbon attached. I was SO shocked that I actually cried. LOL!
Thank you very much for your comments everyone! I really appreciate it.
Becky - An AAA category sounds great to me. Thank you!
Hi there!
It's been a long time since i've posted here. I wanted to drop by and show off some award winners from my state fair. I am thrilled with how well i've done this year. I've never entered any of the teddy bear categories before because the traditional way of making bears is just awe inspiring and frankly I didn't think I stood a chance. I was very surprised with how well I did. I guess there's something to be said for taking chances huh?
1st place in a teddy bear category.
Lousy pic but 1st place in a teddy bear category.
2nd place in a teddy bear category.
1st place in a decorative toy category.

If you're interested in needle felting, I highly recommend you join the above forum. The people are as awesome there as they are here.
She is adorable! She looks so sweet in her dress. Great job!
Hi Christine! Thank you! I discovered the joy of mohair eyelashes a couple of months back. I just love them.
Thank you Pauline!
I finished off this guy today. I've been working on him for about 4 days now. He's 5 way thread jointed. Corriedale with a little merino wool. German glass eyes and mohair eyelashes.
