bear_angry  OK - I tried again and it won't work. Any suggestions?
I pretty much did the same thing I did to download my avatar.

OK - here are the pics as promised and from now on I hereby contract to never talk about something without the required picture. If needbe I can draw up a legal contract signed by a lawyer - they'll sign anything put in front of them :)

and Dilu....as for getting into the spirit of things - I found that spirit many many years ago.

OK Ok I promise. I just got the darn thing today and for some reason didn't bring my camera to the office. Will arrange to have the appropriate pics tomorrow.
Then I can show it off and go Naa Naa..look what I got and you don't!!!

:D
I just finished an Estate for a client who is a really fabulous quilter (and she teaches quilting as well) and she just brought me a hand-made purse with an applique of one of my felted bears on it! She had bought one of my felted creatures for her collector husband and somehow managed to applique a replica of it on the purse along with my bear trade name. I have received gifts before but this is just so special. I saw a pic of a quilt she made for her husband with bears on it and I'm still drooling.
Isn't it nice to be appreciated!
Hugs to all,

Further on this - don't respond to the letter or initiate any communication until you have shown this correspondence to your own solicitor. If you respond then they figure they have you hooked. They would probably then offer to withdraw their claim for a 'portion' of the total debt. I would bet money or even a bear that this is fraud of the worse kind.

Hugs from me too. I work for a lawyer, doing estates etc. We would never go after family members to pay debts unless they had signed as guarantors. I wouldn't worry about this - sounds very much like a fraudulent claim.
May be a new variation on the emails I've been getting lately from Nigeria about huge sums of money and needing an out-of-country bank account or I've just won several million dollars in a lottery...I forward them back to the provider as fraudulent.

Agreed. There's something about having a stash of mohair, wool, felting supplies, material and crochet threads that's heart-warming. Luckily my husband has his own addictions...books, so he doesn't complain much about mine. As well, I'm still working and my extra cash is mine to spend as I like. I could always take up smoking or drinking but since I don't do either I have to spend my money somewhere! Hopefully in the next couple of years I'll become a grandmother and then I guess I'll have to split my spending somehow.

Heather, I love him!! If you really can't stand him you can send him to me and I promise to give him a good home.

I like to use the alligator clips instead of pins: top, bottom, then sides. I find the pins distort the material too much.  I baste the pawpad in place and then backstitch.  I usually sew from the top to the bottom and then again on the other side to avoid distortion as well.
