Thank you Dilu..at least now I know :crackup: :crackup: :crackup: :crackup:
oops :redface: sorry everyone I should have explained it better when I posted this topic (I was in a hurry)
but the idea was just to stop those people who don't know that much or will look for an easier target and I agree with toadbriar (sorry don't know you name) please don't use it on links because I do the same! :redface:
Its mainly just meant for auctions not webpages...
Hi...I meant to put this on a week or so ago, but if you copy and paste the code below then add it to the bottom of you auction page on ebay (the html page) it will stop anyone being able to right click and steal your photos or your page...
<CENTER><head><script language="javascript"><!--
function right(ns_e) {
if (navigator.appName == 'Netscape' &&
(ns_e.which == 3 || ns_e.which == 2)) {
// display an error message
alert("Sorry you can't right click");
// return false so that the click event is not done
return false;
} else if (navigator.appName == 'Microsoft Internet Explorer' &&
(event.button == 2 || event.button == 3)) {
// basically the same steps for Internet Explorer
alert("Sorry you can't right click");
return false;
}
return true;
}
document.onmousedown=right;
document.onmouseup=right;
if (document.layers) {
window.captureEvents(Event.MOUSEDOWN);
}
if (document.layers) {
window.captureEvents(Event.MOUSEUP);
}
window.onmousedown=right;
window.onmouseup=right;
// -->
</script></head>
They will only get a message saying "sorry you can't right click"
Hope some of you might find it useful...

She was really cute before...but I love the after..the eyes and the antenna are great..
She's gorgeous, what a beautiful colour and a great cause to donate her for ...I'm sure she'll get heaps of bids. :clap:
This is Ben I think...I'm a little stuck on what to call him...
He's made of mohair and about 7.5 inches tall.
I think you've done a great job....what fabulous baskets :clap:
So sorry to hear this...Aleta we are all thinking of you here :hug:
My bears remain earless for ages because it's my least favourite part of bear making.... :doh:
Like you I find pins more of a nuisance than a help, so I anchor the ears at both ends and then in the middle before I ladder stitch them on...I always have to sew the second one on more than once though!!!
:crackup: :crackup: :crackup: :crackup: :crackup:
So true...I love these photo's (must be something to do with the 4 boys here!!!)
I am a real mystery sucker also...anything by Dick Francis, Clive Cussler, Jonathon or Fay Kellerman etc etc
any books at all really
Thanks everyone I'm not sure what the problem is...probably just another turbo lister bug, I'll try revising after I upload my listing
This bunny is beautiful, I'm sure your customer will be delighted with him in the fur... :clap:
Wow I thought he was a big bear when I first saw him...he is so cute and his eyes are incredible :clap:
I would like to start my bears on ebay at a lower price with a reserve but every time I try to do that with my turbo lister program I get a message telling me that the reserve function is not available in that catagory...
before I updated turbo lister I had no problem, is there no longer an option to place a reserve?
If that is so why are other bear makers still able to place a reserve on their items?
Kimberly don't worry about it...There seem to be a small group of people who have nothing better to do than surf ebay auctions and send nasty emails......my son who paints warhammer models for pocket money got one once critisising his painting (my hubby deleted it before he saw it as he didn't need to be subjected to someone elses negativity!!!)
if I were you I would put it where it deserves to be....in the trash
:hug:
