Hi Matilda,
What's your exact website address? I can't locate it from www.feewebs.com/matildahuggington/ - I'm just getting a feewebs.com page. :(
I can't see your page either Matilda, but would be happy to swap links!!!
Wow Aleta, that's just as beautiful as I imagined!!! You will laugh your socks off at where Montgomery was created - but hey, it's home........
Will post pics tomorrow, it's too dark to take them here at the moment!!
Posey Grace sends
xxxx
Oh Penny, you're soooo funny!!!
My mum and nan and late grandfather come from Alperton!! They lived in Wembley too!! I think they got an almighty shock when they revisited a couple of years ago!! I still have a lot of family up there though, my late grandfather was one of 13 children. We have a big family!! I don't see them much though.
I wish they had more bear fairs around here though, they're all too far away!!!!
Awww Pen, what a bummer  That kinda thing only normally happens to me............!!
Hope you get it sorted, I'm glad you understand all this, I can't figure ATC's at all - I'm obviously on another planet!!
I am definitely with Shantell  Nose, then eyes, and ears are the very last touch!!
I think I answered this on another board? lol.
You did Sarah, I've been asking everywhere!! Thank you!!!
Ha ha Penny!!!
You will let me know if you find out won't you.......
That's excellent news  Danni, we're still missing your posts, please come and chat!!!
Awww Shantell, what a pretty girl, with her colours she reminds me of Coconut Ice - yum!!! You must be very pleased, she's adorable!! How do you do your eyelids??
Awww Sandy, , my thoughts are with you and yours
Hi Dilu,
You know I do usually fraycheck everything, I like to be thorough , and on my big bears it's usually a bottle gone in no time!! I need a more economical way!!
However the bear I'm working on at the moment isn't your typical 'bear' fabric, and it frays!!! Why do I put myself through it??
I get these bright ideas of trying different mediums........
No wonder I've had a bad day!!!
Wow, she is soooo pretty, you must be very proud of her, she's terrific!!
Good on you all for doing eyelashes, I bought some, looked at them, thought about it, and sold them again!!
Good luck Birgitte, let us know how you get on!!
Oooh Dilu, they're gorgeous!!! They're coats are so shiny, do you polish them?? Why doesn't my hair look like that??!!
Cute pic!!
I normally use fraycheck/fraystoppa, but read somewhere that some artists use watered down PVA to stop edges from fraying.
If you do, what measure of PVA to water and how do you apply it?? Does it make the fabric stiff??
I'm spending a fortune on fray check etc, would love to try this!! Or any alternatives!!!
Many thanks!!
Awww Kim, your bear's cute!! And I LOVE LOVE LOVE your new Avatar, sooo pretty!! Just like you!!!
I am having a bad 'bear' day today
Know how you're feeling - I'll be screaming before long!!!
It's half term for the kids this week, I have today off and Friday off, wondrous thoughts of bear creations running through my head - a WHOLE day to create, but I just can't!!
I drew a new pattern, cut out, started sewing, stuffed, burst a seam, and threw in bin.......
I'm going to start another in a moment......
I'm soooo annoyed, I've got all day, when usually I work every day, and I've done NOTHING constructive whatsoever!! It's now 4:20pm, there's an evening meal to cook yet........
I need to get my creative juices flowing, how do you guys do that when they've run dry??
Awww Penny and Kim, thank you
I am constantly inspired by the talent on this board - it's amazing what we can do!!!
I have always loved the styles of Portobello bears, Paula Strethill-Smith (Shultz bears) and Elizabeth Leggat. When I see their bears, I always need to make a bear - NOW!!!
Awww Danni,
I just got your email too. I'm so sorry that you have been upset, you're such a wonderful, giving and caring person, I can't believe people can treat you like that. Bearwitched was such a generous contribution from you to us all, and now it's gone...... all your hard work
I'm so very sorry for you Danni, remember we're here for you, always.......
It will be lovely to have you post here again, we've really missed you
