Hi Catherine. I signed up. What a cute little pumpkin. Ooooo, I love your cloth dolls ! !

What precious children. You must be a proud grandma.
Kelly Dean, you lucky, lucky duck, you. You work in a wonderland like Gepetto's workshop. Does it make you want to whistle a little tune while you work?
Fantastic, Sue ! ! ! Love those pretty boxes.
Too cute. Shane, ewww, poor racoon. We had a pool where we lived before and the racoons would come at night and have a swim in the pool.
Love 'em ! ! !
I started out sewing my bears by hand even though I've sewn clothes and all sorts of other things for 40 years (whoops, revealing my age, sort of). Unfortunately, I had to have hand surgery. I now sew all of my bears completely on machine. I started out using my computerized Janome until I found a Singer from the 50's at a yard sale for $10. This thing is a work horse and wonderful for bears. If you like sewing your bears on machine you could invest in a new machine later. But, I still prefer to sew bears on my old Singer. Plus, it's apple green and so cute.
Maybe you could find something similar. Not a huge investment and much simpler to use. No zig-zag stitch or anything.
Denise, you can make slideshows on most of the photo storage sites like photobucket and flickr. They generate an html code that you can use on your website. They have some pretty cool effects too.
I started out as being BaroneBear. My last name Barone, is pronounced, well, rhymes with baloney. Most people are familiar with the "Everybody Loves Raymond" show on TV. They pronounce it Barone, rhymes with throne. When you say BaroneBears with the first pronunciation, it sounds pretty good, but if you say it the second way, it sounds pretty lame.
So, I decided to change my business name. I came across an article about Swan Valley, Montana. They have the largest Grizzly Bear population in the lower 48 and the bears are protected by the Swan Valley Grizzly Bear Habitat. You can check out this website to find out more: http://www.vitalground.org/main.php I also kind of liked the idea of a bear riding on a swan's back.
When I changed my business name and I sent an email to Quy asking him to change my info, I didn't realize that my user name would be changed from Patty B to Swan Valley Bears. But that's OK.
Jodi, I bet you are the most dancin'est mouse when the cat's away. Don't blame ya'. You dance, girl ! ! !
Thanks, Shantell, you're on mine now.
Thanks, Laurie. I've added you too.
Brenda, Daphne, my aunt, who quilts like crazy, has one of those sheds (quite a large one) in her yard and it's fitted out with windows, electricity, carpet, shelves and even a ceiling fan. I think she spends most of her time there.
She lives in Chico, CA where it gets quite hot most of the summer. They have a pool so she quilts, jumps in the pool to cool off then back to quilting.
I'm finding a quite a bit of my cat in every one of your posts - and suspect that that's true in most of your cats too.
Just the way they're made....but no washing up, it took about 2 months for him to decide on a dish washer
I had our 3rd baby in 3.25 years and my cat did cooked and did dishes for three weeks or so afterwards.
He was silly enough to ask "How long do you stay in the kitchen?" and of course w/3 kids I said "Hours every day."
I had my first dishwasher the next week....
Bobbie, my mom got her first dishwasher after all three of us kids were finally out on our own. I don't think she'd washed a dish for 15 years before that. But she did do all the cooking, after all.
Hi Christine, and Brenda, thanks !!! Christine, I sent you a PM too.
Hey all, I've given my website a completely new look and started a blog not too long ago.
Just wonderin' who might like to exchange web and blog links with me ? ? ? ?
The government just has to poke their nose in everywhere. I think it looks like loads of fun. In fact, I'm going to go buy some bubble gum.
Oh, Gail, you cracked me up, your husband being a useless tit in the kitchen.   Never heard that one before.
Hmmm . . . when the hubster is away, I stay up late, wait a minute, I always stay up late. I isolate myself (as he puts it) in my "room", wait a minute, I always do that. I spend too much time at the computer, wait a minute, I always do that. I drive to town by myself to go shopping, wait a minute, I always do that. I don't cook dinner (yep, I love cereal too). I do let the dogs sleep on the bed with me and I go to bed with the tv on, I don't do those things when he's home. I guess I don't do much different when he's gone because I'm pretty much always doing what I want to be doing anyway. Ew, I'm sounding a bit selfish.
I too appreciate my alone time. After we moved to the mountains I was home alone all week for 3 years before the hubster retired. He commuted to the SF bay area during the week and came home only on weekends. You know what sailor's wives say, "Underway or underfoot". That's kind of how I felt when he retired. I had to make some adjustments but he had his fishing and golfing. Now his back has "gone bad" and no more golfing. Eeeek, I'm hoping he finds another hobby quick. I bought him a fly tying kit. We'll see.
Love it ! ! !   Especially the one with the tape measure. Too funny. Cool urinals too. (never thought I'd say that)
What a cute bundle of fluff ! ! ! and her name suits her.
My daughter has a dog named Sawyer. After baby was born, named Sullivan, we were calling dog, Sullivan and baby, Sawyer half the time. Too many S's. So, we started calling Sawyer "Dog". I like it. But don't worry, we won't call Sullivan "Baby", he gets to keep his name.
I just today received a card back from the post office marked "unknown" that I sent to Sarah (Jelly Bears). I guess it took that long to travel from the US to Australia and back. Whew. I'm sorry, Sarah.

Wow, Karen. I love the look of your blog and website. Beautifully done. Great stuff you have for sale there, too. I'll be checking back often to see what you have in the store.
