jenny

Thanks so much....I do love making these rabbits!

jenny

I agree with that. I also get peeved when I answer questions and no one ...let alone the person who poses the question bothers to respond. I just won't answer any questions now....and I do like to help...very much so.
But it's not a right of passage to get answers to things. That's not everyone who asks questions by the way....but some people leave me scratching my head. People like this need to do the research for themselves if they can't be courteous.

This is Dillie....my newest bunny. It's a new style that I keep tweaking and I am liking this shape.
I had an online show yesterday and I was delighted that they all sold in a few minutes which after 12 years is still a thrill!

I just read your post again....and I'd needle felt it. While paint won't work...all the fabric paints are translucent ...
Or make the head in white and paint the grey bits on...

jenny

I don't simmer the fabric in Rit dye..it's just a case of dunking till I get to the colour....then a good rinse..and if it's stiff I might add some fabric softener to the rinse..then tumble on a low heat...

jenny

I tried using landscape dyes with a paint brush after a lady on a course I was running said she tried it and it worked and I have to say it does work...really well.
I also use acrylic paints but I use a wetting agent...I add a bit of shampoo ...a tiny amount to the water I use along with the paint...you can buy a fabric medium but the shampoo ..or even washing up liquid works just as well.
If you are using the paints on needle felting olive soap works better on the wool...along with the paint.

jenny

Well I learned from Kelly Dean that Sulky soluble stabiliser works really well.

jenny

This is Henry...he's found a new home already...he's my newest bear

Very pretty ..and lovely workmanship!

jenny

Very clever work!!!

jenny

Your work is so original and innovative. You have your own signature and that is the hardest part of bear making. I think your work shines....superb!

jenny

A very clever design....

jenny

She's now called Lisa Stewart ....not sure if she is still making bears...I think she might have had a career change and has joined the Australian Police force....
I am friends with her on Facebook.

jenny

Me too...I do few girls nowadays.....I enjoy doing them though..I like to let my imagination run riot!
