Dr. Phil's show was about obsessions, hobbies, etc...the question was whether or not they were obsessed with these dolls or if it was a hobby. The lady that was interviewed thought it was just a hobby...and Dr. Phil agreed...although many take these hobbies to the extreme. It was interesting. I have had collectors over the years that were obsessed, but most enjoy collecting as a fun hobby.
I had never heard of these dolls before, but they look amazing.
I love the conversation that always goes on here...I always get a laugh  It's so fun!
Collectors are very interesting when they treat the bear or doll as if it was alive. Ya gotta wonder....
As an artist for 20 yrs, I've seen a lot... there is never a dull moment!!!!
Those are great!
That's funny
I have a feeling that many other cultures would not understand this!
We really are blessed in North America.
All you ladies with husbands, be thankful you have someone to buy you gifts!
I will pray for you and your hubby. You need joy in your life! Do things you love, together! Trust in God, 'cause he loves you very much. I pray that peace will surround you and that you have a blessed Christmas!
 Congrats proud mama!!! You can take some credit for good upbringing! You are very blessed to have a son with so much ambition! Brag on!!!!!!
I used to have a hound mix, a natural digger and escape artist! I couldn't have her ruining the yard because I rent, but I also loved her enough not to want to lose her if she dug her way out. I put patio stones around the perimeter of the fence so if she dug, she couldn't get out. I also fenced in a smaller area of the yard(like a dog run) and put patio stones down in there so when I didn't have time to be out with her she could still get fresh air. It was also great in spring and fall, she wasn't muddy coming back in the house!
After reading the bad stories of invisible fencing, I would rather stick with a real fence, and outsmart the dog with practical steps!
That's so cute!
 Cheeky is right!!
I do have one benefit, I live 15 minutes from the border! When I need to send a parcel, I take a shopping trip over, and ship in the US. In the past, if I've ordered anything in the US, I've had it shipped to friends over there, and pick it up when I have time.
The exchange rate on the Canadian dollar isn't very good right now, so it's better for me to buy here. I'm glad I haven't had trouble with the shippng. Sounds like a pain!
I have heard other artists say they use UPS and they are pleased because they get insurance and tracking, although it is pricey.
Great advice! I was going to suggest to always baste your pieces carefully before sewing to prevent the garment fom slipping or puckering. The link kellydean left has excellent tips!
 That's funny, thanks for sharing!

I'm thankful to be alive... I am a miracle...I almost died this summer, but by the grace of God I am alive and well!!!
I'm thankful for God, family and friends ...for without them, life wouldn't be worth living!!!
What are you thankful for? (pass it on )
Thanks for sharing that... It is so sweet!

If they are the thin ones, they would likely be fiberboard. Fiberboard is very sturdy in smaller sizes. Usually it's used for smaller discs, under 2". Hardboard is a brown colour, and fiberboard is usually shades of grey. Hope this helps!
That is so amazing! Don't you wish all humans got along that well?!?!
