Thank you Gemma I am glad that you can see his floppiness I made his eyelids and paws, from upholstery velvet. I like the dreamy look on bears too.
Gladys
Ok here we go....This is my Floppy bear. Hope you can see his floppiness I am not good at taking pictures. He is like about 9" 1/2 and I named him "Wobbles" He is Mohair and his nose is made out of Cernit ( a clay like compound ). Hope you like him. The first one I posted, like I told you guys , I made a few years ago ( l love floppy bears!! ) but, this one I made for this challenge.
Bear hugs and Golly smiles.

WOW!! We just had a small earthquake.... Only 2.9 but, very close to where we live just the next city...It was 7 miles below surface...I hope and pray is just "another" little one and not the one before a BIG one!! California is beautiful and ..there is something everywhere but, earthquake?? You sometimes forget about them till...you feel it!!
Well..I am with Sonya I do not want to step on any toes. I do understand that many people could be saying, we want a pin but, maybe later, Intercal could be stuck with a BIG bill. I wanted to be able to wear something that will say, without words, I do belong to a group that I am very proud to belong to and that is why I got the idea, brought it to this forum and printed the logo ( Wonderful job Shelly  I did not know it was your design! ) but, if there is any problem and they ( Intercal ) do not want us to make our own ( not to sale, to wear ) I will not wear the one I made and I will understand if Sonya destroy hers ( they are so nice Thank you so very much for thinking of me when you made them Sonya ) I am so grateful to Intercal for starting and keeping this forum. In here, many of us made new friends! We can get help when we need it, not only in bear making but with so many things more! Thank you so very much to Intercal and to all the Advisors that are always willing to "listen" and guide us!
THANKS!!
Sonya and Donna I am sure we'll find each other at the show.
Bear hugs and Golly smiles.

I agree totally with you Sarahjane! It had happened to me too ! It has to do, I think, with the style of bears you like . Like you said great minds think alike.
Bear hugs and Golly smiles
Gladys
Oh! They are so sweet!
Thanks for sharing.
Bear hugs.

Ok...Here we go...
This is my "Floppy" bear. Belive me is floppy and heavy but, because of the fur, you can not see the folds on his tummy too good. The fur is plush. I have to be honest here...This is a bear I made a "few" years ago and cleaning my cabinet I found him. I am making one, with Mohair, shorter, for the challenger. Maybe that will show better the floppiness
Now I want to see more!! .
Hi Chrissi and Gemma.
Gemma Zak is GORGEOUS!! ( Lucky Chloe! ) I agree, working with Mohair is a little bit easier that the plush but, the end result is worse the trouble. Here is a picture of "Violeta" She is plush.
Bear hugs and Golly smiles.

Love your new Avantar Shelli

Welcome to TT Kim! Yeap...That is what it is all about
Dilu .. It does not have to be exactly like a bean bag....just use a lot of pellets..? I think it will be a good idea if it is an "old" Golly...It does makes me laugh at the idea too
Bear hugs and Golly smiles.
Gladys
Hi Klippie WELCOME TO TEDDY TALK! Glad that you did jump in
Gemma this is a good challenge! I am having a good time getting the pattern done. I have a few bears to make and I am going at it slow. I am glad that I do not have to hurry.
I can't wait to see the bears that everybody comes up with!
Have a great week.
Bear hugs and Golly smiles.
Gladys

Gladys
Sonya you images are great! I like how yours look better than mines. I had already done mine when I did talk about it in here. I used the logo that is use to have a link to TT on sites. I made a couple of sizes and I think I like better the small one. You guys can get an idea of the size better in the picture with my "lovely" hand in it . I used instant glue on the small one and regular in the big one ( to see wihich one hold better..You never know with glues!! ) I had to go over the letters on the top, just a little bit. I was thinking that for the members that do not have a laminating machine, they can print it on glossy, ( for pictures ) paper and it would look nice and will be stronger. On mines I used business cards paper and before I laminate it, I fold it 3 times to make it thicker.
Ok...Let me know what do think about them. I will like to see if another members are going to make theirs too.
Bear hugs and Golly smiles.
Gladys
Well Sonya that is a good idea! The show is coming soon !! Maybe we should go ahead and do that and then, later on, we could get some kind of official button from TT/ Intercal. What everybody thinks about this?
Hugs.
Gladys
Great!!  Thank you everyone. Daphne you are right, for the people at intercal probably will be easy to do something with the idea. The t-shirts are fun but the button or pin, we could wear with any kind of outfit, to every show we go!!
Bear hugs.
Gladys
I am so sorry Eileen . She will be for ever with you in your heart.
Hugs.
Gladys
Happy New year everyone!! I have a question ..an idea?? Here it goes. I know that there are great T-shirt for our group but, I was thinking ...What about a pin? I had the idea because I am , God willing, going to the San Diego show and I am hoping I will meet some of you there. I am sooooooooooooo bad about faces and even ( what can I say? ) names, that I am planing to print the Teddy-Talk logo ( hope it is Ok with the sponsors? ) and laminate it, put a pin in the back and wear it proudly !! That way I am telling to the world, I am a member of TT!! Then I thought that it will be good if it was a real pin, like the ones we get from conventions .
What everybody thinks? I want to hear from the sponsor too.
Bear hugs and Golly smiles.
Gladys
I like the idea!! and I will love to participate but, could it be a little bit more time for it?
Bear hugs and Golly smiles .
Gladys
WOW! Shelli your taletens never ends!!   She is GREAT!It does make you smile, no matter what mood you are in! I am like you said, impatient and that is why I love acrylics and that you do not like what you see? Wipe and start again! I used to make soft sculptures dolls but, now I use acrilics on my paints. i do sometimes, when i do a bear portrait, used a M. pen around their eyes and it works fine with acrylics I do sealed with the acrylic varnish.
Sorry for your neighbor.
Bear hugs and Golly smiles.
Gladys
For sure you had to buy them Pen Pen !! They are sooooooo sweet!! Love those faces!! I am not familiar with the artist.Have to check the lady's bears for sure!
Thanks for sharing.
Gladys
Thanks Jodi...I sat down to see if I could feel better, forget my pains talking to friends in here and then... I realise I was not alone feeling down!! My entire body hurts and I am soooooo fatigue but, you are right, 2007, with God's help, will be a good year! I have to get ready for the San Diego show!! I am looking forward to it and it is not that far away from today!! Lets all hug our favorite bear and cheer up!
Bear hugs and Golly miles.
Gladys
Happy New Year everyone !!
Shelli I paint with acrylics. I like that you do not have to wait too much for it to dry. I am unschooled too but, I do think it will be fine, if like you said you sealed the paints in between. Which paint are you going to use first?
Sorry I can not be of any help.
Bear hugs.
