Hey People...
I just posted about this in the original thread regarding the pin, but out of fear that no one would see it, I am reposting the info here for everyone to see...
I was visiting The Teddy Bear Abbey yesterday and Bob Ross gave me the link to a website that his wife Cheryl of Cherbears uses to make medallions for around her bears necks. I thought it would be great to maybe have them make up the pins for us as they do wonderful work and their pins/medallions are of the best quality. The pins could be made by this company and sold online like the TT t-shirts. I am sure we would probably have to get permission from the copyright owner first though before we use the logo? The website is : www.mrpinman.com . They are a company based out of Alberta, Canada.
Thanks
Jeremy

makafelts : love your initials JN on his paw...and love your name...lol
LoL...I think u are the first person EVER to know that it is a JN on the paw pad. Everyone always asks why I put an M on the paw. Thanks everyone for your compliments. I hope to have some more bears finished for Christmas.

Okay Folks...
Here is the first bear that I made (with my kind grandma instructing me on sewing techniques)back in 2002. He is a 14" bear, fully jointed and made from tan sparse 1" curly matted mohair. He is made from the "PATRICK" pattern by Cheryl Ross of Cherbears. He is still my favourite out of the bears I have made thus far.
Let Me Know What You Think...

What a shame that a company that produced such wonderful, high quality soft toys such as Merrythought has gone out of business. The youth of today are too busy with all of the high tech gadgets, games and toys to realize the joy that comes from a simple toy like the teddy bear. Merrythought will be missed and will never be replaced in the hearts and minds of it's many loyal collector's worldwide.
