Things were pretty wild here yesterday in the south west of the UK. We had really strong winds that did quite a bit of damage to trees. My daughter's huge slide and climbing frame which is very heavy was blown across our feild. Very scary.Things have settled now.It is still extremely mild for this time of year the wind yesterday felt quite warm.

This post has really made me laugh, it must be that time of year, because I have been doing the same thing.For the past two days i have been making a Baboon.YES A BABOON.Please don't ask me why, I  tend to have these funny few days every so often.Anyway I am really not sure if i like him and I feel that I have waisted my bear making time.Why oh Why do we do these things. :crackup:  :crackup:  :crackup:

I think that some times it just works out this way.If you are worried that your prices are to high maybe you could take a look on e bay and bear pile and compare prices to the same size bears as yours.
But PLEASE PLEASE don't feel that your bears are crap.They are beautiful.

You may be right, I was just passing on what i have been told.I know that the person who told me had it happen to them. A large company from japan took one of their designs and changed a few things and sold them as their own.They made huge amounts of them and sold them as cheep, fax fur kids bears.When they looked into it , they were told that nothing could be done as a certin amount of things had been changed.
Maybe the law has changed since then.

Hello, Does anyone know where I can buy plastic pellets in bulk in the uk? I buy lots of little £2.00 bags every time I go to a teddy fair but I seem to use around 1 1/2 bags for each large bear (I like them heavy) so its working out quite expensive.If you know of any where I could buy them by the sack load I would be very greatful.

I think to be able to call a bear ooak it has to have 5 things that are different.I have been told this by a very well known teddy bear artist who has been making and selling bears for over 15 years. that is why it is so hard to sue over copy right.Someone could take one of my bears apart and use the pattern as long as they changed 5 things like eye colour, mohair colour,ear size , length of arm and legs etc. And I could do nothing about it.
Sucks but it can happen.
So ,back to your bear .I guess you could sell them as twins or brothers or something.

That I have designed for Deans again this year. These are my two bears that will be in the Spring/Summer 2007 collection. I am so pleased to have been asked again.
Popcorn is the blond hairy one and Smoo is the brown and pink one named after my friend who died in October.
