Terries BearsHi! I have been a lurker for about the past week. This is a great chat group! Lots of lively conversation and a wealth of knowledge! It is so nice to be able to share a love of making bears with others who feel the same way. I have been making bears for about 10 years. I have a very supportive husband, 2 kid's in their early 20's and 3 cats, who are all very good at "putting up with Mom's bear stuff".

Love the bears and others from your web site. There is definately never a loss for information and laughs on this site. Many are lurkers (me for about 2 weeks) but actually being in print is a lot of fun.

Hi Gina!!!! I saw your your cute little kitty! He is very cute! Way to go! Congratulations on your new bear business, I hope it works out really well for you. I can't believe that my little guys inspired you to give it a try. That is the best compliment that I have ever been given. I don't know how Sweet Pea missed the gallery, she is one of my all time favorites, she must have been hiding that day.....I am going to have to find her. I know that you adopted 2 but I remember who the other one was.

Hey Fellow Albertan,
There are a few of us here. Im from the South!! In Redcliff - and your saying WHERE. Just outside of Medicine Hat - you would of heard of Medicine Hat. I've been making bears for about 3 years now and really enjoy it. Im not as good as most of the people in Teddy Talk but I sure do hope to be someday.

I just look at some of the bears and I love so many aspect of them and hope someday I will be able to sculpt toes and make eye lids and etc etc etc.
I really like to read all the tips and hints and I have given a number of my early bears face lifts!! My friends are laughing at me but the old bears definately need a little nip and tuck! Good practice.

I have to admit my eyes must not work soo well, I didn't realize there were other Albertains here on the list. This is great!! I'm in Calgary. Maybe we should all join together one day, and hold a small bear show or something.

Heather & Jane, it is great to see that there are other bear makers that live not too far away, it would be fun to get together for a bear show or even just get together!
Shelli & Shari, I am one of the biggest fans of both of your bears! Shari, I am in total awe of the open mouths that you do, everytime I see one, I think, wow! I am going to have to try that some day.
Shelli, I absolutely LOVE everthing about your bears, the eyes of course are to die for but I love their shape as well....they just beg to cuddled. I really like the picture on your website of all of them together.....all of the sweet little faces posed for their photo shoot.....I don't know how long I just sat and enjoyed looking at each one. You are also an awesome teacher! I read your article on photography in Bears & Buds a couple of times and finally decided to just print it off, so that I can refer back to it when ever I want.....thanks! it has helped a lot!
Gina, it would have been great if you could have sent my children & grandchildren to college....giggle, giggle.....but I am truely pleased that they gave you the inspiration to try some of your own. I remember the the blue & white one......Skeeter!

bears by beesley TMReally! We are between Sherwood Park and Tofield on an acreage. We lived just outside of Sherwood Park for 6 years and in Sherwood park for 4. Welcome. How nice to talk to you. We go into Sherwood Park weekly for groceries! Wow small world Huh!! Love your bears, they are wonderful.

bears by beesley TMHi again Terrie. We live off of highway 14 and Range Road 204. We sold our house on RR 224 (off of the same highway) (Portas gardens) when I got sick and could no longer take care of the big house. I dont think we will make the doll show in September but we are going to have a booth in Christmas in October in Sherwood Park at Festival place. Hope to see you there.
