Hi eveyone! I am so happy that I found Teddy Talk! Since I create my bears from vintage mink I don't need to order supplies very often...but now that I found you I had to say Hello!

My name is Kathy Myers and I have been a Teddy Bear Artist for 17 years. I have been fortunate enough to have have my bears appear in many books and magazines so some of you may recognize my work. I have never attended a show outside of Southern California because I am also a homeschooling mom and my time has been very limited but through word of mouth and recognition through the publications my bears have found homes world wide.

I specialize in creating the smallest bears possible from vintage mink collars, stoles, and coats. It's not easy but I love a challenge! The smallest bear that I can create (with the proper pelt) is just under 3 inches. I also hand dye the mink (when I can) because I love color. I just designed the little bear in the photo last month...it is my smallest bear, hand dyed (teal) and it is on a ribbon necklace with a hand made heart.

I just recently designed a new website and an About Me page on eBay...I hope you will take a look.

I'm not very good on the computer...I'm always pushing the wrong buttons...so forgive my mistakes.
