I have a ton of Kunin plush and shaggy felt and would like to try to make a grungy bear from some of it. Does anyone know what you do to this fabric to distress it. I have tried tea dying and heat but since it is a synthetic the heat only melts it and makes it hard and the tea does nothing. I have seen teddies made from this fabric that have been distressed so I know it can be done but my attempts have been futile.
