I am making a real fur dog.
Cut out one ear only to find when I trimed it back stitching from the coat was visible, cut a second ear only to cut the ear when I was trimming it.  bear_angry
Third ear so far so good.
Cut out a foot only to find the same problem. Stitching showing.
The coat had backing on it already so it has made it hard to see seams until it's too late.

I understand your frustration.

I cut out a real fur bear outside and went in the house to get my granddaughter a drink.  She was on her bike riding around the yard.  When I came back out she was still riding her bike and it probably took me no more that 3 minutes to pour the drink and go back out.

When I went to sew the bear together she had done some trimming on one of the ears and a leg.  I was so annoyed at myself for leaving the scissors out which she could have hurt herself with.  Thank god it was only the fur bear parts and thank god I had more fur!!! bear_rolleyes  bear_rolleyes

Learnt a valuable lesson that day!!!
