It doesn't have any tags or labels, it is a clockwork bear as you can see the whole for the key in the back, the only clue I have is the person said it might have been bought new in the 50's.
Also interested in what it's worth. Thanks to anyone that can help.

well I can say that it's mohair but it's hard to tell the maker.  The whole for the key is most likely for a music box inside the bear.  Do you still have the key?  Is there a plastic nose under the stitching?

The key is missing, the owner said it made the head turn back and forth, the nose is cloth under the stitch.
