I took a class several years ago and the instructor had the class purchase a backing that was a fabric that was on a peel away sticky adhesive. She said that you needed to use the stabilizer to reinforce the fur, but I have not been able to find the name of the stabilizer, or find it in any fabric store. Can anyone tell me where I could find this material? She was from Oregon and said that you could only get it there.

Sulky makes a self-sticking fabric stabilizer, and so does Pellon. I've heard of other techniques as well, such as a spray adhesive topped with muslin fabric.

Thanks, I will see if I can find it again.
