Hi all! I've been teaching myself to sew for the past few years, with one of my main goals being to recreate my favorite teddy bear, no longer commercially available. I recently completed my first one, pictured here. My next project will be the same bear, but larger. In the future, I plan to harvest patterns from other commercial stuffed animals that have good shapes, but are poorly made with cheap materials (as so many modern plush are).

So, I know this site is really for makers of heirloom-style art bears. There are very few resources for the more "commercial" style plush I want to make. Would I be welcome here, or is this too off-topic? No hard feelings if so!
