Thank you for joining us, and hello. I'm glad you are here
DiLu-subdued cuz am not quite awake....yer......need coooffeee
They have little wooden boats at ACMoore and Michaels that are unfinished... that is where I buy my little accessories and they are quite cheap too (just bought bird houses and wooden hinged boxes - they were 2/$1.00)
I did a sailor bear and put a ship in a bottle with him. I found it on ebay and ended up getting it for 99 cents. After shipping it was under $4.
Oh Dilu! He is absolutely wonderful. I just love the smiles that you put on your Gollies and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the smile that they instill in me!!!:)
Big Hugs!

Dilu, HMS Pinafore!? ha ha ha ha ha ha
Where is the "Sir Joseph Porter" and the captan's daughter who will fall in love with your golly!
Marie
Oh Marie
Is this a challange? I did do Buttercup, isn't that enough? :D:D
'though I could never tell why....."
I asked my mom when I was a wee bitty thing....why and she said
it was because Buttercup was a plump little thing and that's what they called plump little things.
Any truth to this or was this one of the "mom lies" along with oh, well," a watched pot never boils?"
Ok, now how about some of Mr. Gillbert's and Mr.Sullivan's compatriots answering the question of the ages....Why was Buttercup called Poor Little Buttercup?
Because she was a plump little soprano? or some other reason?
Wondering and not knowing the answer....Dilu
As I remember (and I probably don't), Buttercup doesn't know why either!
Sorry, but it's so hot here my brain is melting.
Eileen
Dillywogs, you make the sweetest gollies. This boy is a keeper for sure! Love the hands!
