Just a quick note to say hello to everyone. I am a bear-maker here in the UK and I am finding the lists a terrible distraction from what I set out to do each day...but this one seems like at least it could be bear orientated so maybe I won't feel as guilty as I sit at my PC!!

I have only been making bear for 3 years so I have lots to learn...but hopefully things to share too.

Hi Jenny. To everyone Jenny may have been making for only 3 years but she has a huge following and makes the most cute and cuddly bears. Lovely to have you Jenny. I've just sneaked on the computer today. I will be getting back to bears in the Autumn after a summer break of days out etc.

I also know you will have loads of tips on using synthetics as you use the most exquisite fabrics as well as mohair. Lovely!

Oh thanks everybody....I really hope I can contribute within the group. I hope that in the time I have spent figuring things out over the last 3 years I may have learned enough to be of help to other bear makers and I want to say that I have found the tips and techniques posted exctremely useful so far , hope I can add to them.

I too stumbled across your site recently... probably just following links from one artist's site to another! I remember how sweet your bear faces were and smiled when I read about WHO inspires your work! Your doggies are adorable!! I can see their soulful looks in your bears for sure!

Was great to take a look at your bears on your web-site. The wee bear on your avatar
is just darling - such an angelic face.
Zoe, Lottie and Lizzie are very sweet and I know what you mean about getting inspiration
from your dogs face. Heidi, our Giant schauzner and Hyacinth and Louie ( Persian cats)
have such a great look on their face and they do look like some of my Bears sometimes.
