Wow what a lovely warm welcome - thank you all so much .....I thought I had got the hang of posting a pic of one of my bears but noticed it has not come out .....oops - I do have a website which is www.bradleybears.co.uk if you would like to see me creations - also I am now going to try again and post a pic of one of my bears......paws crossed it will work this time
A big cheesy welcome from Wisconsin, The Dairy State! Part of my heart will always be in the UK, my start in life.
This is a fun place.
Eileen....YAY!!! We get to see a bear.. and is really really adorable. Is he mohair?
Thanks, Judi,
"Bronwyn's" fur is actually knitted from a really nice Turkish eyelash yarn. Otherwise, she's constructed like any mohair bear, with locknut joints and a wobble in her head. Thanks to the patterns you and Nance sent, I experimented a bit and came up with my own patten--just a prototype, but she came out pretty well . . . in the end!
