Any tips what to make mouse whiskers out of?
Fine gauge fishing line?
Very fine gauge floristry wire?
Horse hair might be too thick do you think?
Some brilliant person will be on in a minute with a ..........why didn't I think of that answer..........
I just use thread and coat it with beeswax.
OH Renea???? you crack me up
I just buy the stuff at my local fabric craft store that stocks absolutely everything. It's labeled 'Dolls whiskers'
Renae: you are a hoot!!!
Whiskers: well if it is a mico mini I use clear sewing thread.

Renae: I'm still laughing...antelope fur? I would not even know where to find it much less using it as a whisker. Though that is a wonderful idea. As for "moosie", I'm not sure if you are talking about a real moose or a pet!!! Though, if left up to me they would be one in the same if only my silly, uptight association board would let me have one in my back yard. I do love animals.....

Matilda,
Doll whiskers?!?!!??! LOL Hilarious!
I have nothing to add; everyone's already suggested what I would have! :)

I use fishing line. I poke a hole in fabric use a good craft glue that dries clear and put glue on line and insert into hole. let dry.
WOW - I got something right after all...............
I'm not a total fluffhead................
Horse hair is great and comes in many colors. I love it. Use only the tail hair.

Lena: Do people sell horse hair for crafts? If so where can one buy it? My friend gave me some years ago but I don't live near any horse people (well I do, I just don't know them).

I get mine from my daughter. She has 4 horses all differnt colours. Not sure if craft shops sell it. I be happy to send you some. Might be a problem with customs I think. Maybe you can get in contact with a stabel some where and as for some. Most horse folk are very nice folk.

I have used the fine wire from 'wired ribbon". You all possibly have left over wire ribbon. I just pull it out. It is fine but will bend to any shape and the copper shade is usually a good contrast.

I use horse mane hair for mousie whiskers . . . the tail hair is too coarse for teeny tinies!
