Not that i've ever had the free time, but assuming you had no interruptions...

How many hours do you estimate it would take you to finish a medium sized bear of average difficulty?  I tend to get terribly obsessed with the little things when i make fairies and am finding i am equally obsessing the smaller details of my first bear...  I may never finish. LOL

If it is a regular golly 30 hours

If it is one of the fancy ones with the extensive costumes 40 not counting all the time on the computer researching....

Its easy to get obsessional.....

but one of the rules here is you have to finish becasue

on my first bear it took like three weeks from design of the pattern to giving it away.  That pile of fabric was a bit intimidating sort of like a blank canvas.  in serious time I must have 6-8 hours at least in it... but it was a labor of love.
