One of my brothers asked me to make him a needle felted Mama & Baby Beaver. When he said he wanted them to be "life size" I almost fell off my chair..lol.. So...a lot of wool & 2 weeks of poking...I finally got them done. What a challenge!!!!!!

Very nice Charlotte. I can only imagine how tired your hands must have been after making two life-sized beavers.

They are beautiful!!! What a huge amount of work. Theylook to be very firmly felted too! My and and wrist ache just thinking about that! I bet your brother loves them though.

They are firmly felted & took a huge amount of core wool. I didn't have any problem with my hand or wrist, which was surprising, but I did make sure to take a break about every hour & do some stretching exercises.

LOL my hubby put them in the mail yesterday...and the weight of the box surprised me...those beavers weigh 2 pounds!!! Oh my goodness I poked a lot of wool!!!
