This may seem an odd question, but I understand thet needle sculpting uses strong thread pulled tightly around the eye areas, but where do you start and end your thread?  I've tried on several occasions to do this, starting and ending the thread at the base of the head, but I just can get the look I'm after, it seems to loosen off and pull the base of the head up, making it hard to get the joint in sitting nicely.  Where am I going wrong please?

Katy, take a look at the library right above your post (on the left side).  In the drop down menu, click on "Eyes/Eyelids", then go to the thread that is entitled 'Needle Sculpting Eye Sockets'.  There is an additional link in that thread that has some good info, also.

Ahh, thanks, I'd been looking at the muzzle bit, which seemed to generally describe it
