Hi.

When I sew stitches for claws I feel its a bit unsecure, how do you fasten the thread on a secure way ?
If its a thick mohair is not a probem to hide the knot, but if its sparse or very short pile ?

I make a knot.  Insert needle up by the elbow of the bear.  Exit where I want the first stitch to start.  Give a tug and sink the knot under the fabric and into the stuffing,

Lisa, there is a topic in our library called "Paws - Claws - Toes".  You might find some help there, also.

The same way out.  I go back and forth through the arm, going in the same hole that the needle came out so that the floss is inside the bear not seen on the outside.
