Posts: 20Hi I am a new member, I live with my 8 bears in Ilfracombe and didn't know I was a collector until I bought 2 new teddies and sent off for catherine and Kiplinganother which arrived this morning and I thought maybe I could be a proper collector and subscribe to your club! Marcie xx
These are my most recently acquired bears I do have more teds but they are a bit too old to pose for the camera!
These in the picture are called Chockie, Katherine and Kiplling .

Marcie, I saw your post about the Steiff ice bear. I'm not familiar with the bear, but I wanted to share this supplier's website. They take their own photos, so it's another way to judge from afar in addition to the Steiff catalog picture: http://www.two4toys.com/catalog/index.php
You can also search on ebay for listings where people have photographed the actual bear in the fur.

Are these three beauties all Charlie Bears? I'm quite sure Catherine and Kipling are, but I am not too sure about Chockie.
I also have several Charlie Bears in my hug (mostly from previous years). Did you know that they have a collector's club as well?

Hi Becky, thank you so much for the advice! it is too late though, I sulked all day the day before yesterday and hubby finally bowed down to pressure and ordered my beautiful ice bear. I am waiting for the postman now if he doesn't come today (Saturday) I will have to wait until Monday. This bear thing has really got to me

Good on hubby! That's a very handsome bear, and the two of you look terrific together. I really like the bear's size, the subtle color combination, the historical touches, plus a good growler is just plain fun!

He is a beautiful bear; I still love my Steiff bears and every now and then I get seduced into adopting another. :teddybear:
As far as the Charlie Bears Club is concerned, you can find all the information on the Charlie Bears website : http://www.charliebears.com/
You will find the information under the "JOIN UP - BEST FRIENDS" heading.
What I like about the club is that you get detailed information about all the new collections as soon as they are released and you get the possibility to adopt a few exclusive club bears at a very reasonable price.
My Christmas present to myself is going to be "Sig Hugalot" a big 32" plush bear exclusive for the club members :
