17" Stella is a nostalgic sort of summer girl-bear. I hope you'll stop by my website for her full description: www.dangerbears.com

She is so beautiful; I love the very dark blue (not black  bear_grin ) fur.
She looks very pretty in her summer dress and collar too.  bear_smile

Great bear Becky dark colours are much harder to photograph but in the fur I always prefer them. So she is a big bear in in a dark fur ticks all my boxes!

She is gorgeous. And the white is a perfect contrast. Black bears are difficult for me and quite challenging. You did a great job on this one!  bear_wub

Thanks, Vicki! bear_original

I made her for a Guild challenge (depict the season of the year in your part of the world), and the dark color (actually a midnight blue) was definitely a challenge for me. I back-painted a few different pairs of eyes with sparkly white paint to make them stand out, but I ended up not liking the look. I chose black in the end, and the twinkle alone seemed to give her the right expression.
