I find myself in need of another microwaveable bear. bear_grin I still have one, but he's pretty small and not very fat. But I have plenty of buckwheat hulls and fake fur, so I was going to make my own. Is there any particular content in the fabric that I should avoid? I'm scared that the fur will melt in the microwave if I use the wrong kind. I also have some brushed twill fabric that I could use if that would be better. What do you guys think?

Heat is bad for faux fur. I'd worry about the melting and the possible chemical fumes. Why don't you use mohair or wool?
