For the bear I'm working on right now someone requested if they could see a bear with a bigger nose. I know I can make the nose part look bigger with sculpting the muzzle, and well making a bigger nose to finish it up. But I was wondering if anyone has altered the gusset piece to make the make the top of the nose actually be larger before sculpting.
I cut the gusset out and left a bit thinking about attempting to try to look but I was a little skimpy on my seam allowance and don't want to chew up the edge too much tuging and pulling on it in all those way size I don't have the fabric to replace it :/

Just seeing if anyone has attempted this/ has any examples  or tips

I am useing Goldie's pattern.

You could definitely enlarge the nose end of the gusset (I'm imagining sort of a bowling-pin shape). Just be sure to lengthen the nose area of the side-head pieces to account for the additional circumference of the gusset.
