Hi Everyone!

Do you have a rule for pile length to size of bear?

I can’t seem to get the look I’m going for and I’m sure it’s because I’m not brave enough with my pile length.

I’ve bought some gorgeous 15mm fushia pink mohair which is the longest pile I’ve purchased so far.  Now I’m erming and arghing over the scale of my next bear.

I’ve scoured my books and can’t find anything regarding pile length to scale of bear.

Any advice or secrets much appreciated! X

There are no hard and fast rules regarding length of pile and size of bear, to my knowledge.  Although a very long pile on a small bear might overwhelm the looks of the bear, but experiment a little to see what looks best to you.
