Hello everyone. My name is Amanda and I live in Stoke-on-Trent, England. I have wanted to join for a few weeks now but it felt a bit daunting with all you wonderful bear artists. I kept thinking I'll join when I get better at making bears, but listening to you all I realise the only way to get better is to share in your ideas and feel your warmth at first hand!
I have just got back into bear making after a long break. I only sell on Ebay at the moment as it is so easy for me. I work under the name Pandy Potter and I have a bear on at the moment called Bruno. I would like to say a big thank you to you all as you will see many of your influences in him. Hi Amanda,I am new on this board also but it is awesome,you learn so much and the girls are amazing!Everyone is warm.kind and helpful.You will feel at home in no time and not know how you made it through the day without these gals.I'll have to go look for your bear,best of luck with your auction,your avatar is adorable!

A big, hearty welcome to Teddy Talk, Amanda . . . Thanks to you all. I have just got back from my 'real' job. I work for Slimming World after losing 5 stone (70lbs). The bears help me keep busy and its so relaxing. You are all a great bunch. Its nice to talk about bears rather than weight for a change. P.S. Thanks Penny, you have really given me a boost! Good luck.
