I'm typing this with my left hand because today I went to hospital for a CT scan of my kidneys as I have had a lot of pain recently. The daft guy who put in the cannular (needle) for the dye to go into my arm missed the vein and now my arm is so large that my arm looks like one of  Popeye's. It is so swollen with fluid that I can't bend it and it is rock hard to touch. The dye is also an irritant so the pain is really bad. Honestly I think our British health service have it in for me. After everything that went wrong after my operation you would have thought that they could have gotten a CT scan right for me! Moaning over!

Been there done that many many years ago. But - it will go away.

  Oh Jane!!  I am hurting for you.......that must be simply awful!!!  What did the doc say about the pain and swelling?  How long will it last?  They do know about it, right........it's not something that popped up after you were home I hope?  I am sorry you're having to go through this and hope things are back to normal soon!!
