When I was making dolls I wound up collecting several pairs of scissors, each one for cutting different materials. I purchased a separate pair of Fiskars when I needed to cut mohair and they are fine so far. When I think any of them are getting a bit dull, I cut sandpaper with them and it sharpens them up a bit.

I guess there is something for everyone and I can definitely say this is not for me!

There are a lot of things I like about Etsy, such as the low listing cost, fair percentages, and the search engine... That being said, I don't know if too many people are looking for collectible mohair bears on Etsy.  Almost all of the searches that bring people to my shop have more to do with my dolls.

I love ravelry.com for knitting patterns of all sorts... some are free, some cost a little, but there is a lot of cute stuff.
