For artists and collectors sponsored by Intercal...your mohair supplier and Johnna's Mohair Store
 I wish some of the book stores carried the magazine
Ah that's so cute! Great job
Finally I get a break from dogs LOL
A custom ordered white bellied caique
Needle felted wool over wire with hand-painted glass eyes
About 3" not counting tail
Ah thanks!
Depending on the supplier sometimes if it says 8mm eyes it's talking about the iris only & not the whole eye, so be careful of that & it's good to ask the company. I once ordered what I thought was 16mm eyes total around and it was just the iris so the whole eye was more like 22mm
Also I glue my flat back eyes in. I have done dragons where I cut sockets and then glue the eyes from the back side but it's more work than it's worth I think
I've used both needle felted and leather eyelids
And I get my eyes from http://www.glasseyesonline.com/
I've used copic markers to shade them in or simply glued them into place.
So I have a Brother 50 Stitch Computerized Sewing Machine It's not the best machine in the world at only $130 from wal-mart but I've been super happy with it so fare. My question is does anyone own a Pfaff machine? My grandmother has an older one (not sure of the model) but it's computerized and from around the 90's give or take & she wants to trade machines.
So I know Pfaffs are high in cost but are they good for bear & stuffed animal making. I really like that my brother has the anti-bunch bobbin feature but I know the Pfaff cab embroider (which isn't something I really do) So would it be a good trade?
So any help would be great thanks!
Thanks! They are each about 4" tall at the ears.
Thanks so much!
I gave him super bad posture
I've been making dogs like crazy
Wow she's pretty. That color looks amazing
Ah what I've been up to
I worked out a deal for a dog rescues fund raiser. I'm making then rescue 20 dogs all Norwegian Elkhounds
I have 3 so fare
I use Navajo-Churro too for my core it's also sometimes called mandala wool too. It's a nice off white, and then I felt with mohair or Merino on top. For larger things I make a soft sculpt body out of muslin stuffed with poly-fil then just felt my wool on top.
Meet "Billy"
He's made from curly brown mohair and has a wobble head joint. And shoe button eyes. I wanted to make a very antique style bear :)
He's about 11" tall when standing
For sale!

Thanks everyone!
oh wow that's cute!! ![]()
My first big bunny! He's about 15" tall counting his big ears.
I went a little crazy when I designed the pattern so the head has 8 parts
So I'll be doing a redesign for sure if I make another one & I think I need to make the feet a bit bigger.
Made with faux fur & felt
Hi everyone I just wanted to check to see if anyone would be interested in being part of a banner link exchange. Basically I but your banner on my website & you put my banner on yours it's that easy. A good standard sized banner is 468X60 a little smaller than the banners seen on this page. Don't have a banner? Let me know & I can make one for you. http://featherheart.net/links.html On my links page you can see more, grab my banner html & see samples of banners in that size.
Just add this html to your page, it can be a links page or where ever you like. Then contact me with your html or banner & I'll add it to my page!

These are actually all for sale but because they are not plush I didn't know where else to post them. Hope it's OK to post here.
It was removed? why on earth would they do that?
just love your dragons
Well not that many people where posting in the ACEO area, I guess I could post them in the general if that would be OK.
Totally off topic, but I love your dragon art cards. They are stunning
Thanks  I was going to post them here but the ATC area was removed
Glad you like them
OK thanks that's what I was thinking. I only posted to that area once before
Ok sorry if I'm just dumb & missing this but I thought there was an area to post ACEO/ATC? I can get to some post from the library but can't add new post, has that section been removed? Or am I just lost (like normal) LOL
