I have just posted a picture of my students on my blog, wearing "the very latest teddy fashion in OZ". If you have time take a peek and let me know what you think of them. I'm sure you will be amused at the very least.
Amy: Bless you, that's a very tempting offer, I'll PM you.
Louise: Another pretty tree and I love all the stockings and prims on the mantle!
Katrina: That's a lovely wee tree and the paper snowflakes look great on the window. Well done!
Amy: More great trees. Love the slender one with all the bears. I wish we had slender trees here in Oz, then maybe, just maybe, I'd be able to squeeze another in here in my studio.
By the way, I absolutely love those pretty circular quilt mats you US girls use to place your trees on, I haven't seen them used in the UK ... I'd love to be able to make one!
Paula: If you can make bears, you can certainly make a tree mat! I'm throwing down the gauntlet, yep a Paula challenge for 2008.
For the time being, I will look forward to seeing your tree tomorrow with great anticipation! Now we just have to nudge Sue Ann!
Sue Ann and Paula: You better get a wriggle on, Christmas will be upon you quicker than you think! It's only twelve days away. GULP!
Ruth: I love them all, they are gorgeous...the white one really does look magical! And those little bears...well what can I say? I can see why you ended up buying the two Samantha Potter bears, I wouldn't have been able to decide which I liked best either! They all look very sweet sitting under the tree, you're a very lucky girl.
Connie: That's not your main tree? Wow! I can't wait to see what you come up with next. Those ornaments are beautiful...I also noticed your daisies, do they signify anything special?
Oh this was so nice to wake up to this morning...thanks girls!
Aww...no new trees today.
With 1511 views so far I really thought we would have a few more trees up today.
Come on girls, I'm sure we have more trees to share.
It's lookin' good!
Amanda: Your trees look beautiful and it's lovely that each one is decorated differently...I'll look forward to seeing next year's outside effort!
Bron: So glad you finally added your tree...the girls have done a wonderful job of decorating it this year! I love the ceiling decos too. We used to do ours, but now with all the ceiling fans it's a bit difficult.
Sarah: Looking forward to your addition!
Patty: Love the way you have added all your bears ... they look almost life like in the glow of the lights!
Beautiful pictures! I look forward to popping in here everyday.
He's lovely Lynette and in such a wonderful condition ... I would take Edie's advice.
When I restored my brothers bear all I did was match up the paw pad fabric and carefully stitch it over the top and eventhough he didn't have much pile left he still looks a treat to me.
Wow Sonya! What a wonderful collection of bears you have there...plenty to keep you warm on a cold winter's night! Your tree looks wonderful!
Kelly: You are so lucky to have the room for two large trees (full of envy here) ... all your decos look super!
Ali: What a difference the lights make ... they have turned a winter white scene into a golden glow of warmth ... just lovely!
Ellen: I just love your tree topper ... it's so different from the traditional star or angel. Gives your tree a very regal look!
I am so glad you are all enjoying this thread, I am too. I think you are all wonderful, for giving us an insight into your homes and sharing your Christmas with us in this way.
Ohh! Ohhh! Ohhhhh! These are all beautiful trees ... oh my, I am getting quite excited!
Edie: Love all the teddies on the stair ... they all look as excited as me!
Aeri: Your doggie is so sweet to sit there like that, Salvador deserves a big hug. For the life of me, I cannot get Woody to keep his santa hat on long enough to take a picture.
Tami: Wonderful tree and I love that teddy in the sleigh ... he's gorgeous.
Keep 'em coming ... you are all making this a beautiful thread.
Can't wait to see this tree finished ... the ornaments so far are terrific!
Just added mine ... best I could do at short notice!
Gotta go finish some more Christmas shopping now.
Wow! More lovely trees and decorations!
Kathy: Your white decoration looks very pretty ... are they feathers?
Betty: How could anyone one of us not love your tree with all those super little bears ... just gorgeous!
Bobbie: Those decorations are lovely. I particularly like the tree of cones and your house looks like something off a picture postcard...oh I do miss the White Christmas! SIGH!
Okay, who's next?
Nancy: That's a beautiful tree you have there and it's nice to see how different it looks with the lights on.
Lynn: I love what you have done to your tree, the ribbons look wonderful, it almost looks like it has snow on. I also like the way you photgraphed it using the foliage around the doorway to frame the picture ....
( Can you have pet sheep ???)
   Yes and pet goats and pet pigs and pet chooks ..... How wonderful!
Sorry Lynette, I couldn't help laughing! We plan on moving to the country in three years, when Glenn retires ..... I'd say go for it, it looks so peaceful.
Good Luck with whatever you decide ..... just do what makes you happy.
Wow! what super mantle decorations Connie ... just lovely. Makes me wish I had a mantle ... perhaps in the new house.
Love the snow scene with the buildings too...I hope you continue to add to this.
Paula: They are great little trees and it's lovely to see your Christmas decos are all around the house.
Aleta: I think those teddies would have done well in Judi's Yummy Bear Challenge ... they really look like candy inside that jar and certainly good enough to eat! Another wonderful idea and tree shared!
Keep them coming girls!
I'm almost 42 years old, and Christmas has never lost it's magic for me. If anything, it gets more magical each year.
Sorry Shelli ... missed you completely. I hope your tree is magical...please share it with us when you get the chance.
Natasha: Your little tree reminds me of the one we had when my kids were little...you certainly have brought back some memories.
I remember seeing all the beautiful trees at the Myer store and wishing they were mine, I then decided that I would put a little aside for spending at the sales after Christmas.
And so every year we have added to our collection of goodies. We plan what we are going to do the following year and target the decorations required. It's fun and a great way to build up your collection without breaking the bank.
Bron and Ellen: I am also looking forward to seeing your pictures.
Thank you Shelli, this was a great challenge and everyone has done an excellent job...
...especially Shelly who really tackled the challenge head on!
I so enjoyed looking at all these, they are all so different ... you really are a bunch of talented ladies.
Janet: This is the very best, of the best promotional ideas for teddies, I have seen in a very long time.
Everyone can see you have put a great deal of thought and effort into this display...it's absolutely superb. This is a great example of your dedication to teddy bears
You win my
award for 2007!
EDIT: I just love your teddy bear Christmas tree.
Brenda: I love what you have done with your cake dome ... I'm working on something with mine which you'll see in another thread later on.
Lisa: Your girls look just wonderful as usual and I love your vintage retro tree.    Though the colour wheel does remind me of the disco days!
Wanda: What a wonderful idea to put the family pictures on the decorations...gorgeous tree!
Tami: I can see the interior decorator coming out here ... love the way you have carried the blue butterfly theme through to your wrappings.
Charlotte: So Sorry! I nearly missed you ... the Juniper tree would have a very special meaning to me, so I will look forward to seeing what you come up with.
Sue Ann: I think teddy bears will only become extinct, if we stop making them.
Maybe you could send in a picture of your teddies to the Dallas Morning News giving reference to the cartoon.
Tami ... a really great read!
Ooooohhh ! I love your tree Sandi ! Very grand ! In my house I'd never be allowed to have the tree put up 'till at least middle of December

In my mind my tree always looks classy , coordinated , and hung with unusual / delightful ornamentation . In reality it probably looks like some mad person has thrown "stuff" on it in desperation !!! I confess to having , like , 11 boxes of Christmas deco'sI might be part magpie ?

Mini Hugs , Ruth
Thanks Ruth. We always put ours up the first Sunday in December, as later I don't seem to have the time. What with shopping, people visiting, little get togethers and our wedding anniversary etc.
I definately understand the 11 boxes...I decided each year I would change my colour theme, so our hoard of decos has grown considerably!
Brenda and Samantha:
I love your trees, they both look so traditional with all the different decorations. Just like the ones on Christmas cards. And those lights...WOW! they are fabulous!
Pauline: Thank You. I think decorating the tree is the best fun too.
I'm really enjoying seeing these trees, may I have more please .........?
Well Glenn and I put our tree up to day and somehow it always looks better than it does in photos, but I took two anyway ... the first without a flash to see the lights.
Now how about you all having a bit of fun by sharing your tree on TT?
