Great costumes everyone!!!
think of us poor people in the southern hemisphere who lost an hour of sleep!! although it was a few weeks back... but I still complian LOL
ughh, us too, our dogs HATE them!!! lightening too, but fireworks are the worst, even just a distant popping and they get nervous. Yvonne I'm so sorry about your kitty, thats so sad

Thanks so much   I visited her yesterday and it was nice seeing Izabelle on her mantle
ahhh, one of my favourite things to make
There are so so many, when I began, I started off with buying ready made (fake) butterflies, chopping out the middle (gizzards lol) and then embelishing the wings with more glitter and paint, and attaching them to my bears, I still have a collection of bears made with these sorts of wings, they are so nice still and stand up well I think.
If you want to make your own from scratch, there are sooo many ways now... fantasy film and fibre, TLS, printouts on the computer....mind you, a lot of it is trial and error, even if you have instructions written out in front of you, still give yourself time to play, and make mistakes...its fun, well I think it is Even now, a good set of wings will take me 3-4 hours....gosh I haven't actually timed myself coz I do enjoy it, but I think that's approx right....
If your more intrested in getting ready made, but still with the appeal of hand made... look into ebay, there are lots of people who make wings, and if you don't enjoy the process, it may be the way to go, some of them are stunning!
I've been using Peony since the last time this question was raised lol, gosh, isn't it a nice feeling to know we've all been around here for so long
A sewing machine is always a good tool to have, especailly for big bears, you can sew up bodies and limbs in a flash, even if you leave the head and paw pads for hand sewing like I do. I always sew my little ones by hand, but even still, sewing machines always come in handy for bear clothes too...
Happy Halloween Janey!!!!!!! Don't fall off that broom will you love and huggies
tehe, thanks so much Tami, and Happy Halloween to you and Tiffi
Hi Julie, that is wonderful news!!!! Congratulations

Congratulations!!! On everything! many many hugs
Oh dear me.....that isn't very nice is it....I was a tad upset the other night over a custom order that I made up and she chose not to adopt even though I followed her instructions, but she was nice and sorry for the inconvenience etc so it made it bearable...there isn't reason to be mean...its so hard with commissions...all I can do is offer you hugs, and time....it feels better once the anger settles and you can think clearly.....hugs!
Oh my gosh....doesn't it make your blood boil.....Millie, I'm so glad people like you are on this earth...I hope these puppies recover...I'm just sickened by this sort of stuff....as we all are, I know And yorkies are an "in" breed....at any age, people pay lots for them over here, wonder what this guy was on about.....hugs to you Millie, many of them
Raewyn, my dog keeps me company too, aren't they the best he even sits on my lap as I sew or stuff, awkward at times hehe
Sandra, thats a fabulous idea and I bet it will work....I've tried the pillows...all sorts piled on my lap to raise the level but still keep the control with no slip, but nothing works well enough...but this sounds so promising...the surface on the foam should do it, I may be able to shape it too...thanks!
Laura, I like your idea too, will try that one, and Daphne, yes, I was thinking of just standing if all else fails..and, ahhh, yes...the old 15 mins rule...lol...I never can stop myself!
okay, so I have many bears to make to try out all these techniques lol
thanks soooooooo much everyone
