Oh Ellen, I'm so glad I'm not the only one to do 'free comedy shows'.
...and Kelly Dean.... ahhhhh, the bears I could make from that coat!!! Ooooh, droooool!!!!
, but I still firmly believe in dressing well, whatever the occasion (my personal clothing philosophy is that you should always look presentible enough, that, if your car broke down and you had to hitch-hike, people would want to stop and help you)
(ditto traveling and airports. I think you get a much better response from ticket agents, stews, doormen, bellhops, etc if you look like you might have enough power or money to cause trouble. sweats & a t-shirt don't impress or intimidate no one and cashmere is just as comfortable
  Kelly this is my own hubby's personal philosophy! We could be out hiking in the middle of nowhere and he'd still be brushing his hair and remaining pristine with his clothing Can't say I live up to that expectation, though.
Comfort remains the key. Be sure whatever clothing you take along is clothing you trust and have worn before. Nothing worse than having to wait it out with a pair of shoes that blister or clothing that suddenly becomes binding in the mid afternoon.
  I wonder which one they line up for?
Thank you for sharing his email Bobbie. Maybe he should take a teddy bear making class? If he has a 'fun idea for a sports bear', getting his hands on the materials, and learning how to will open his eyes and have him better understand the process of design.
One thing that is interesting, though, aren't the plush animals created differently? I thought for instance there were huge machines that stamp cut the materials? And I think I'd read somewhere that the plush are designed differently to speed up the stuffing process... ie the arms and legs are sewn so that the tops of the limbs are left open to fit over the tubes for the stuffing machines.
There seems to be a lot more to learn than meets the eye with this.
 Looks like a hangover on a Monday ~ bad combination

Very fitting for Mother's Day. And what a sweet story about your son and the strawberries
I'm another proud survivor And its amazing the freedoms we had back then. My brother and I ran all over the place like heathens and Mom didn't worry about where we were. All that was important was that you were in one piece in time to come to supper...and it was a sitdown supper that Mom had cooked, so you'd better be there an eat everything on your plate
  It reads like a soap opera....especially the worshipping bit. Hmmmm.....and just how many 'sleazy' male judges have hit on women employees over the years and no one's ever attempted to chuck them from their position?
  What a gem!!
And yet some people thrive on the challenges of meeting deadlines and tweaking patterns and designs at the last minute. It really depends on a person's abilities and what floats their boat.
I've been following all of this closely. I've absolutely no interest in doing something like this, but it is interesting to hear how you can do this to better protect yourself as an artist, and certainly for getting credit.
Daphne has an extemely valid point by checking out the quality level of the manufacturer. You certainly do NOT want to get stuck with some junk out there attached to your name.
  over the bear noses in the oven!!!  Hubby says its time to order out when you see that in the oven!
 A feral cat usually will not tame down, so better to keep you and your family safe first and foremost. At my grandma's they had feral cats all the time, and they really aren't for petting or touching, no matter how close you think you can get to them.
I was going to recommend covering the trap as well. And do be very sure the children stay well away once she's trapped. We've had to livetrap the cats before and they do turn very, very wild for the most part. I highly recommend leather gloves for turning her loose.
What a brilliant idea to get her spayed at the same time
 Have a lovely vacation Tami!!!
Wowieee!! Now that's exciting!!!
Awwwhhhh, how exciting!!!  Congratulations Chrissi!!!
Awwwhhh ~ too cute!!!
Awwhhh, what a cute souvenir from Camp I bet the kids adore their momentos, and its all the more special if they can make them themselves
Now that is adorable Makes me want to fly on their planes
I saw one of a wild horse on the tailfin.
 Blossom only blazes about in the pasture for her fun, not for the racing public, and certainly not in training. I feel so so badly for Eight Belles and her team.
Blossom in her pink and Bling! flymask last year.
Glad she's brought such joy for you all!
I adore my girlie
And as much as I'm not keen on the colour for me, pink really suits her. LOL, and you should see her with BLING!! The girl really is a diva
If it sparkles, she thinks its hers.
  Let them come to you at the show! I'm sure you'll have fun And best of luck with your delivery
Since I work with real fur, the bears either live out with me, or get placed into one of my cedar chests. They also get a regular vaccumming when they live with me, and I can't resist playing with them, and mussing their fur around, smoothing out the cheeks, etc.
To transport to the one and only show I've done, I placed each into their own carrier bag. Then when the bear sold, it went with its carrier bag. Their little faces didn't get mushed, and the bear could 'breathe'.
Will do, she adores hugs n cuddles
