Well, his name came to me in the dark hours before daylight...and then I couldn't see to write it down...and I just asked my Hubby...what is his name...he said "Pherd"...I think, considering how many times I have made him watch Labyrinth with me...that is a perfect name... he lives in David Bowies hair...cause that's the only place there is any room...surely not in those leggings..don't ya think??

Eliza,
We moved away from western Mass nearly 15 years ago to Northern NM...Have been back east 3 times in all this time...but not back to Mass...only as far as upstate NY where I grew up...lived in Mass for many years...raised our son there..had 2 different basket shops there...many good memories...but love NM so much now. Wishing you much luck with your move!!!

Hey Andrea...but they are meant to be used...or admired:) Glad you like them.
I have a question...how does Andrea become Katiebear? I have nieces with both names...sisters...Katie & Andrea...and there is also Becca...My sisters 3 girls...so I am curious about how you picked the name:)

The Peanut butter works like a charm normally...and the other thing is have someone massage up & down your spine...makes you straighten up...and relax the diafram(sp)..which is the problem usually. I hope the hic-ups are history very soon!!!!

Daphne,
Oh what a pain...have you tried a spoon full of peanut butter...and let it disolve slowly in your mouth? Works like a charm for me...

Great questions Bobbie! Here are pictures of a set of wings I did with only black vein lines, and they are translucent. I held them so you can see both the front side (Shiny) & back side(Matt). The second picture show how much light comes thru the colored wings when held up to a window.
I have not tried to sandpaper texture any wings, and I have a feeling that if you baked the Liguid Sculpey on sandpaper you could soak off the paper part, but the sand would be adheared in the wings. Heather, do you think pressing the sandpaper into the top of the sculpey at about half way thru the baking might work, once the sculpey is not so gooey? Looks like some experimenting needs to be done bear_grin
