Well... I thought spring was here, and now I'm disappointed. It snowed all night & is still snowing! The ground has a thick layer of snow on it. I sure hope it melts fast & stays away this time. Or did I blink & miss spring & summer????
Breathtaking! What a beautiful & unusual picture! Thanks
Beautiful! I so badly want to design a realistic polar bear cub one day. Every time I see pictures like this I want to get started! Thanks for the creative jump start!
Hi Joanne! Thanks for the compliments on the twins! The fur was muskrat... in wonderful condition from her mom's vintage coat. Beautiful fur with a grey undertone. It looks better in person than in the pics... you don't notice the variations in color quite as strongly with just your eye. Muskrat is one of the softest furs I've used. Mink is soft too, but the guard hairs aren't as soft and the undercoat isn't as thick as muskrat, so if you want the fluffy look and still really soft, muskrat is the way to go. Hope you get a chance to try it!
Great idea! I would love to spend the evening commenting, but have had to just quickly look at them all.... company coming & I'm not even ready for that yet!!! EEEEEK! There's something wonderful about every creation that's been listed... keep up the great work!
Have you ever been busy! They are a stunning group!

She's gorgeous! No wonder her new mom loves her!
He is a sweetheart! And lovely fur... looks so soft!
He is beautiful!
Thank you Matilda!
I'm looking forward to seeing flowers like that too! Still ice in the wind around here (northern British Columbia). Although today we had some sun & most of the snow is gone. My tulips are finally popping up, but no blooms yet. Can't smell the cottonwood trees yet... when the smell of the opening buds is on the breeze, then it will truly be spring!!
Wow!! Absolutely beautiful wee ones!
Wish I could come to Hugglets to see them in person!
He is so sweet! You've done a fantastic job! Keep it up!
Apple is wonderful! I love her coloring!
I think I missed the boat, or maybe my bears and dogs just are not what the public wants.
Oh Karen! I think your bears are lovely. Your avatar bear is especially cute! It takes a lot of hard work and patience to sell bears... right now I things seem to be slow on ebay. I hope things look up for you saleswise... I think when buyers see your bears more you'll develop regular collectors of your bears. I'm glad you're not giving up on bear making!
Wonderful! You caught that old style look really well!
Thank you Christine! I just love the sculpting one can do with the needle felting. It adds a whole new dimention! You should try it... I've had a lot of stabs with these needles, but for some reason it doesn't hurt as much as with a regular needle, and it heals so quickly. I think if you tried needle felting you'd be hooked! I got my mom, dad & sister to try it and they all love it!
Thanks from me too! It's nice to see all those beautiful bears together! I'd like to get to a show this summer so I enjoy seeing how people set up for them.
Thank you Mikki! I love your work too!
Thank you Patty & Marion!
I'm off to Prince Rupert for the next couple days... I hope everyone has a great weekend & I'll be back on TT probably Sunday.
Thank you Gail!
Congratulations!!  I bet you were dancing around when you got the news!

I'm a 5, but if there was cheese cake I'd have gone for that... wonder what that means!?
Hubby's a 6. It suits him to a T.
Actually, I have thought of hibernating, but haven't yet managed to pull it off . . .Think what we'd save on heat . . . more $$ for mohair
Too true Eileen! This year was so cold I wish I could have hibernated! And the food bill would be lower so we could afford some other supplies too!
But that would have given me less time to make bears. I can hardly stand it when I'm not working on a bear... I go to sleep at night either dreaming of the one I'm making or the next one I'm going to work on... If I had to worry about making ends meet just using my bear money I think I'd be having nightmares!
If I could work at it full time we might be able to squeek by, but that wouldn't give us any extra for dental bills, new tires... etc. And I'd have to really watch the price of the supplies I buy & the time I spend doing other things.... and ... and ... and... too many ands.
