A good thinking topic - okay, well I've tried a lot of things a case of been there, seen it, done it
I would really like to perfect embroidered noses - such a pain for me to do! I know practice makes perfect BUT it didn't work for me and I was so happy when I got to use the cabochon noses and also making the leather ones
Mini's I've tried but like Aleta too fiddly for me - needlefelting gave that one up as I was stabbing myself more times than the wool
I reckon I'll stick to the mid to larger bears and improve on my work - a really large bear would be a challenge for me as I only do hand sewing - me and sewing machines don't go together very well
Oh yes one last thing I would love to come up with something a little different, but I'm working on it! big sigh!

 Oh dear - but look on the bright side as tomorrow could be such a better day, well I hope it will be ![]()
Mine is on the 13th November - yeah, I know unlucky for some but we've done 36 years! Sounds like a jail sentence doesn't it
Hubby gets a bit confused sometimes as my birthday follows on the 24th Nov so sometimes I get a birthday pressie for our annivsary and vice versa

I love reading and I always find a little time each day for burying myself into a book and I can never go to sleep at night without having a read, no matter how tired I am. My favourite reads are murder/mysteries, fantasies, dramas. Lots of favourite authors.
I must be a big woose too as I have read some of Patricia Cornwall books and didn't really like all the gory details
Though I do like reading Kathy Reich
Will give Alexander Mcall Smith a try.
Love the TT Christmas tree - what a great idea and the creations are just wonderful
Hope it comes around again next year as I would very much like to join in - time seems to have whizzed pass me this year

Good thinking Paula - I'm not very good at trying to come up with a new one and hubby is too busy at the moment to help me so I've just going to use last years one
Hugs Lyn
Oh what a face! You can literally see the suffering
It looks really nice, peaceful and idyllic big sigh! Me and hubby have driven through the Karoo a few times on our journeys down to Cape Town, so remember it quite well. If you like the quiet life then I reckon you should go for it! A couple of sheep in the yard sounds good to me
I could do with a couple myself!

I am sure that others who use Ebay for selling will have noticed these rather strange ID bidders that go something like this n***c and you can't get any bidding history up about them
Also if you run a check on the ID according to Ebay they do not exsist as it seems Ebay have removed them or they have been automatically generated and then removed by the person trying to disrupt the bidding, very strange! If Ebay had removed them then it is much a case of closing the stable door after the horse has bolted, the damage has already been done! Then there is all the email scams going on with false links - about time Ebay pulled their fingers out and sorted it all out especially this disruptive bidding, quite easily prevented!
Okay, that's my shout on the soap box for today
Hugs Lyn
When cutting out I am listening to the radio and when sewing I am watching the TV - well trying to without stabbing me or the dogs!
Hugs Lyn
Oh me too! I have the same problem with my hubby he just doesn't get it! I love to collect other artists work which I admire so much and know I can't make and is not my style
I have lost count of the many times that I have tried explaining, gave up years ago so just keep quiet now
 Lyn
We are also seeing the floods on our news here and tonight we saw the area where you live Samantha (my daughters name is the same as yours) and I wish you all good luck and hope that everything comes right soon.
Hugs Lyn
  Yippee!!! I got my copy today, Monday and it is the Aug/Sept issue. Must admit I was having big doubts as to whether I would get it or not
Hugs Lyn
I'm a SAGITTARIAN and I suppose some of it fits but a lot of it doesn't but I reckon that goes for a lot of the signs
Hugs Lyn
You are not alone Jodi as I am still waiting for my copy and I am a subscriber so don't have to wait on the newsagent to get it in. I really hope it has not gone missing
Hugs Lyn
Yep, I'll go for 2 as well, lovely pictures and of course a very, very nice bear
Hugs Lyn
Nope, not enjoying Summer because it is Winter here though some days are just like a Summer you would get in most other countries. Sorry! Just had to get that one in
