Having just caught up on this thread ( and still laughing,,,yeah stuff the lingerie in it!) i would say YOU DONT HAVE TO PROVE ANYTHING TO HIM!! it just feeds his ego..i consider myself and expert almost ( sigh) on pleasant breakups ( id hate anyone not to like me) ( idiot)  but i would not make the bear ..not give him any explanation..its outta line..a control thing for him..hes a terrible prospect as a partner,,no decent male would ever do something as cold as the things you have said he did to you ,,,or her,,,RUN and dont look back! and make that bear for someone who will love it and YOU the way you deserve to be loved!  i finally "GOT ' it after playing games in a relationship with such a guy that i excused about everything..when i picked up a very funny magazine article by a man that gave the "translations" male /female conversations and expectations,,The first one was " if he doesnt call you it isnt because hes dead or sick or lost your phone number or anything..its because he DOESN'T WANT "to call you!" i realized when  i got done laughing how much i rationalized and believed what i wanted to be true instead of what was right in front of me..!!  you are toooo nice for this loser!! deb

Thank you all so much for your thoughts and prayers..my husband seems to be feeling much better today,,tho the 14 staples look nasty!no wonder the poor guy is all black and blue! Brenda we also vacation there twice a year..spring and fall..usuallly may and nov..sometimes earlier...its one of the places i feel most at peace..and you are right Mindy..the Amish are very strong in their faith and their community,,they will hold together until they heal..and blame is not their way..its awful anywhere but seems so wrong there is particular..no child should have to go thru this kind of horror. one of the things i take away with me is the pictures in my heart of the families and children i see at the auctions or about their everyday lives. thanks again to all of you deb

yes this morning apparently..the other similar one this past week was sick enough..but this is just beyond comprehension to me..all of it is..im sick to death of death..of the senseless violence..what did any of the kids do? and the kids that do the killing? what literally is this world coming too? deb

i have had a long weekend with my husband having had a stent put in his heart on fri and complications resulted in a second surgery sat night..we finally got home and im watching the news and there was this horrific shooting at the nichol mine pa amish school...i am sick..we go there to the auctions when we travel..how can there be such evil in the world? those sweet little girls..i just cant believe it...my heartfelt sympathy to all the families and friends ..i am in tears.. deb

mmm i bet!! thats why they  suggest you don't mix stuff in your toilet bowl and then hang your head over it and clean it! i juts saw a new magazine that did rust printing on fabric,,they spayed vingar on it and then laid the rusted whatever on the fabric until it imprinted,,cool looking!   so much talent out there! :) deb

Michelle i would hate to tell you how many things are sitting around my house because they spoke to me alone! especially those silly animal vases! my husband just rolls his eyes! cute avatar! no website? paula i love thumper and rags and hey they look like great purchases to me! that little guy has a great face! but his buddy is awfully sweet too! and aleta i want bippity boppity boo!! boo hoo!  he is precious! i know what you mean about the kids clothes! wow are they pricey! your website is exactly the vibtage look i love! and they are all worth the closet space!  my dh and i are very dangerous together at an auction! you would not believe what we have lugged home! plus i love to do silk florals in odd containers! this was fun!  hugs deb

okay ..i made another of those spur of the moment yard sale purchases at our fav harvest fair this past weekend  ( underhill vt harvest market  great fun!)  and i want to know who else has done stuff this NUTS!!  fess up! whats your wackiest purchase?! i bought a box of banners..red white and blue..so i thought,,i got them home
and while iwas explaining this to my ever patient dh  ( who loves me because im nuts!)  i started pulling them out of the box,and pulling and  pulling...kinda like that magicians trick....turns out there are TWO banners about 150 feet long!!! hmmm...i can wrap the house in them!! any maybe i will!  :):)  deb

there are many places you can buy pre rusted bells by the way! most of the country magazines have co.'s listed that sell rusted stuff..an on the internet. i like the look of yours tammy..wonder if i can rust my mint tins that way? what percentage of bleach per vinegar do you use?  deb

unless shes going to college for business..  as  in staring her own photography studio..!!!! the girl is really talented..of course she has a beautiful couple and setting to help in this case..but shes really good!!  deb

Tammi they are adorable!! very sweet faces! its hard to tell form the picture are they still the traditional 3 piece head? i thought about this challenge but unsure of what im aiming for..they are cute cute cute!! deb

i too want to ad my deepest sympathy..we lost a beloved malamute to cancer three years ago  and our english setter died a year later..it just broke our hearts. his name was Ice Winds Hearts Ease,,hence the name of my business,,Hoover was the setter,,born deaf,,they had relatively long lives but they are never long enough!
always swear we can't have our hearts torn out again,,but we have a much loved 18 mos old springer spaniel now,,Snickers and loving all of them has been a high point in our lives,,i believe all dogs ( and other pets) go to heaven,  many frineds have found that the rainbow bridge helped them grieve,  she was a lucky dog to have owners who loved him and cared for him so well! Daphne you are just wicked! :crackup:  and i can just see eileens' nose pressed up against the glass waiting! " move over doggies"! that made me laugh!  great articles well rounded over view of the whole internet teddy bear community.  its a wonderful way for those of us in the boonies to keep in touch with whats going on! love the magazine and want to subscribe instaed of circling barnes and noble like  a vulture waiting,,but with the house for sale im sure that id sell it as soon as i do all that stuff and make more work changing adresses..hey wait a minute..sell the house..?subscription here i come!!   deb

debbie thank you for the encouragement..daphne believe me i have been over that and over it in my head and with objective people..not  a real clue except i just dont have whatever people at the maine shows are looking for. i dont sell ALOT of bears but i sell what i make..usually here in Vt and PA..a few in Mass. at amherst and that took me awhile... i seem to sell to people who appear out of the blue...WANT that bear..buy and disappear ! i can talk and smile and fuss with the display and the bears until im depressed..it doesnt change..on the other hand i get many people who love the bears.. admire them..say nice things about them and me..oh well im doing it for me anyway!  some advice has helped..raise the bears UP on the table..for instance..im glad there were great sales and it wouldnt have occurred to me to blame the promoter? i will be brave and if anyone has seen me at the shows or seen my bears and would like to email me privately with any thoughts id be interested.
