they are very adorable! i like the blue one in the first pic.
thank u all! i think i hav found my answer! i will just try to find what's unique to me. i hav just made a new bear, so check the showcase section! (thx Joanne)
off the paw: dont exaggerate! u know that yur bears are much better(and cuter) than mines (concerning neatness..skill..) and yes, i totally agree, it takes experience, and u need to learn. happy beary days right back!
sunny semms to be a very bright bear! very cute!
hello all you fellow teddy bear makers.
i am obsessed with cute things from teddy bears, to dogs and cats...to felt foods...the list goes on and on and on. That's why I hav a question to ask. how do you guys achieve the "cute" factor in yur bears? it doesn't hav to be cute to anyone else, just unique to what you make and yur tecnique. i know i make my bears cute with larger sized eyes and exaggerated body parts, such as the enlargement on the head. but im just a beginner, and i hav only been bear making for three months. so i would like to share and exchange ideas. what makes yur bear "cute" and unique to yourself? plese reply. this topic can get very interesting!
bye-bye for now!
this is such a bright idea! and the women evidently seem very pleased with their new friends to share hugs with! and such a nice way to raise money for a much needed cause!
yur creations just keep on getting cuter and cuter!
cute! such a sweet girl.
my dad got layed off, too.. alot of people i know had to move because of that. must be hard making a living selling teddys. i wish u the best of luck selling them!
"Tea" is really cute!
cute! i could never make my bears as good as yours
i got fur from desertmountain bear, too. its pink, and looks exactly like yur fur. probably came from the same origination..lookie here: http://s579.photobucket.com/albums/ss23 … 0228_1.jpg
....( not quite sure what to make of it) anyway, yur bear is lovely!
Hello fellow teddytalk users! I usually make all my own patterns to make bears with. I look at other people's ideas, and using the information, i make my own patterns. Recently, i have been trying to make a pattern with puffy cheeks. how to?? please help me! thx
If u do decide to reply, if possible can u include a diagram? it makes it easier. but, if u dont, thats okay too. i just prefer it that way. oh, and i promise i will not copy yur patterns. i know how special and indivisual each bear should be kept.
ta-ta!
how adorable!
shes cute!
how cute! love his "ripped" look!
i just use really hard cardboard. its easy to cut, and usually all you have to do is stick your needle in it. i cant buy discs, so i make them. at grocery stores, they have those green wire thingys to tie up your bag with. i scrape of the green or red stuff, and voila! instant free wire. if u feel it is too breakable, you can always intertwine pieces together. easy for me, easy for anyone!
P.S. yes, it actually works. but try to get the thick kind of cardboard that is not easily bent. (or cut)
