After enjoying so much making a felted bear I made another one, a baby polar bear.

He is  1.75" tall and 2.25" long. I handstitched his nose and gave him moveable limbs (string jointed).

Here are some pictures.

Marion

Congratulations, Berta! Of course I will cast my vote!

You know how much I love your N.O.S.T. bear (more after seeing him in Essen).

Thank you all, I appreciate your comments bear_flower

Connie: I have not done much needlefelting although I love it. I had done a couple of needle felted mini bears 2 years ago and a cat and a dog. But nothing more.

There is never enough time to do both, needle felting and crocheting. I decided to crochet my bears, however on some bears I combined crocheting and needle felting.

Just try it, it is a lot of fun and offers a wide range of creativity. You can start with simple forms and build your bear/animal in layers from there.

I am sure that this little fellow won't be the last needle felted one.  I just enjoyed making him too much.

Hugs,
Marion

timo-tt.jpgHi everybody,

after finding a long forgotten box with lots of needlefelting stuff, I felt, it was time to felt something again.
The little 2.75" (sitting) bear is the result. The core is felted quite firmly and I added a softer layer on top of it.

It felt good to do something other than crocheting bears for a change

Lots of felt(ing)! lol
