Teddy Talk: Creating, Collecting, Connecting

I will be passing your kind wishes on to them in detail this Sunday when they come to visit - their delayed family honeymoon will be in a couple of weeks

I have been soo soo busy and here is the reason -
I am now a mother in law  
Thought I would share this picture of my daughter and her new husband who were married on 2nd September at 3.00 I will have more pictures in 4 - 6 weeks when the professional ones are done if anyone would liek to see some

Sorry have not been able to stop by for a week or so - soo many things to do - will catch up soon - and tell all with pictures 
Anyway one of the things I have been working on is a simpler version of my web site

Hi Jane
I have only really done shows in Scotland - which are not so big as say Alli Palli or Kensington however
I have had a table theme each time - eg summer - so sprinkled summer blooms on the table and the bears were holding flowers
eg winter - with snow (fake) sprinkled over the table and around the bears and fake ice cubes and snow balls
For the bears themselves I tend to create what come sout my head at the time but for the winter/christmas table - I had bears that had sort of christmassy themes (I think)
ie a bear in a pudding bowl with a spoon (plum duff)
a bear pulling a sledge
a santa bear with parcels
a couple of bears with hat and scarfs
and so on
But different sizes of bears - but I have mini's on a specially built staircase type display and then each of the others on their own little podiums with covers to match the season I am using
I have foudn that the 'picture' of my table has drawn admiring comments and one particular lady said that she always finds my displays really attractive and look forward to seeing what I would do for each show.
Don't know if this will help as it is only my experience
For myself - attending shows including big ones - it is always the bears faces which attract me and since your bears are terrific - I bet you have lots of admiring looks and comments whatever display type you choose
But I look forward to seeing pictures

I have just been reading all about your garden and builders you really should be a writer( mm how to fit that in with your many other talents might take a bit of juggling - bet you can do that too   )
  Ouch!! a great need for patience on your part

OOOOOOOOOOOOhhh but your paving is wonderful - I always wanted a garden like in stately homes - I am soo sorry your plants have been lost - but I think your finished garden will be a haven of tranquility and artistry and when is the open day scheduled?? - just think - cream teas and classical music  ---mmm I look forward to seeing  more :photo: of the progress towards your own little valhalla/eutopia/Shangri La
