Daphne---my husband swears by this remedy. Light a match, drop it in water, drink the water. He says it's a chemical reaction to the sulphur or some such gibberish..
I get the ones that come and go and they're really loud...everyone laughs at me hiccuping..
Good luck!!
Amelia
..sorry, girls---that photo is a fake..

That looks like a Neoplititan mastiff, not an English mastifff..

..I think the E6000 glue is found to cause cancer in the state of California...it's nasty stuff, but it is a good glue. I prefer other glues though.
Also, if you are making clay noses, I recommend you put a little wire and insert 'em like eyes. That way there is no glue involved, no smelliness, and the nose is guaranteed to stay on as long as it's not ripped off.
Amelia
Ellen, take the plunge! I am looking forward to bidding on your work!
Be sure and post the auction here when you put it up!!
*waves*
Best,
Amelia
...I think there's also a product by Rust-Oleum [if I'm spelling that correctly] that does the same thing, Bobbie, and I was contemplating putting it on my son's bedroom wall, ran across it in House Beautiful or Cottage Living or one of those magazines. I can't wait to try it!
What a great product for miniaturists!!

What is a non-squeaky alternative to locline for bears? Or is there none?
..I was just about to go drop some money on some 'cause I am trying bigger bears. Am now wondering if I should?
Amelia *hoping for Judi to weigh in soon*
Gemma, he is simply gorgeous! Love that face, absolutely terrific color combination! Are his pawpads needle-felted? They are perfect!
Amelia
Gaby, had to go look up Funky after reading your post about your first bear show---he's AWESOME!! Absolutely funkadillycious---that fur is too cool! He has very nice eyes as well. Am glad you pointed him out so I could get a chance to see him in the "bear"---sometimes I don't get to the Showcase thread very often, and I definitely missed this unique original fellow!
Amelia
...oh... No, Kim, you can always downsize but if you try to upgrade it doesn't work. Sorry, sweetie.
How much of a resolution change are we talking about here? How big are the photos originally?
Amelia
Oh my word, she is ADORABLE!!! I love the little stand with all the accessories!! I agree with Cheryl, if you are going to prim her don't do too much, she is fantastic as is!!! Those eyes just make one melt!
Amelia

To me, your imps are just as unique a look and gorgeous as these artists work. A simpler pattern, perhaps, but still absolutely gorgeous!
Amelia
You can have the teddy, I wasn't poaching on the teddy!! 'sides, maybe she'll make another one with a star on it just for you.
..pbbbbbbbbbbbbbft!! ;)
Amelia *who totally didn't realize that Chrissy meant THAT imp*
..it's called an addiction..an email addiction..an eBay addiction...a blogging addiction...a Teddy-Talk addiction...a web addiction...
Luckily, my husband just got a phone with wireless on it, so I can go anywhere and still bid on eBay things! No more missing auctions!!
Amelia *addict*
---I think you need to check out the ragdolls on eBay. paulasdollhouse is a good one, lemme think...another great one is zayinstar [or something like that]...

..I lost my post here. Shelli, I really adore the PBAI [PotBelly Arts Imps] especially the one with the star---they are all awesome! And the bears in the jar are charming---and the magnets are uber cool! You should put up an etsy store for 'em!
Am certain they will sell like hot cakes at the show!
Amelia
MY GOSH. Shelli, I was thinking about what I'd pay and I was going to bid $125. If you are only charging $50, I would please please PLEASE like to reserve the one with the star? It really speaks to me, and I don't really know why. Of course, I understand if you are saving 'em for the show [which I will NOT be at *SULK* ].
Amelia
...I seem to hazily remember something like this...me personally, I would be thrilled to be re-added to your list! Do you have new stuff for us to drool over? I've been eying your doodlebuggies, they're sooooo cute!
Amelia
I was worried about that when I got that funny email regarding your bear, Kim!! Hope they get it all straightened out.
