PS A reminder about the show would be fantastic....I may only be 36, but my mind thinks were in our 80's...sheesh!
What a thoughtful neighbor you are!! Wanna be my neighbor too? Im not expecting (PhEEEW...5 is enough for me!) but I would love a new bear *smiles*

Brenda, I absolutely have to have one of these one day! I would love a white one named Webster after our pet duck that sadly is no longer with us. This duck was the goofiest darn thing and I swear he was better then any ol' therapist. If I was having a bad day, I would walk out to the back yard and that silly old duck would do something to make me laugh! He even talked back to me...(he must have learned that trick from the kids...ha ha!)
Love these new little "walking" critters your making! Im sure they will be a HUGE success at the show!
Bear Hugs,
Kim
What darling pictures! LOVE the one where she is on the towels. What a priceless photo.
Bear Hugs,
Kim
Ohhhhh Brenda! This is just toooooo cute for words! Love your ducky....I love ALL your work!
Bear Hugs,
Kim
Oh Jodi, he is wonderful!
I already have started gathering my supplies, but I havent had a chance to start the bear as of yet.
A big thank you to you and Chrissi (and anyone else I may be missing) for putting this together!
Bear Hugs,
Kim
I had the same thing happen to me a few weeks ago......I was soooooooooooo frusterated!
I just listed a bear with a BIN and all my preferences were set at worldwide shipping. My auction came up that i only ship to the US, so my International buyer couldnt use the BIN. When I tried to change all my setting to accept her bid, they were all set correctly...ebay has a serious glitch right now.
I hope it all works out for you
Bear Hugs,
Kim
Congrats on your new Granddaughter! How exciting!
A brand new baby is waaay better then any ol' movie and spending the weekend sewing *smiles*

I accidentally purchased some coil loops years ago and no matter how hard I try, I have yet to figure out how these can possibly be used without putting a HUGE hole in your bears head or being certain they will stay in place.....they will continue to sit in my "eye bin" probably forever! *smiles*
I would think a single loop is exactly what it says....it is a single loop that has not been crimped. I do prefer the ones that have already been crimped, as the wire seems like it is a little bit stronger, but to me its not a big deal to have to do it yourself either....I thread it, then crimp it and away I go. It takens me about 2 seconds to do this and it is a nice snug fit. I hope this helps you a little.

Kim
Uggghhh...people frustate me! How you could abandon a pregnant horse and leave a sweet little helpless kitten on the street! God bless people like you for taking them in and making sure they get a new loving home!
Bear Hugs,
Kim
I think we all would have done what you did Paula. You had no reason to doubt the address having worked with her a few times before. I know I wouldn't have given it a second thought...recently I had a new buyer pay for a bear and ask me to send it to a "friends" address. I was leary of it, so I did a google search for the "friends" address to make sure the name and address matched up...it did and all went well, but I was definately uneasy about the situtaion. I made sure I did delivery confirmation on the package to cover myself.
I do hope this is all some sort of mix up and things will work out for you in the end.
Best of luck,
Kim
In my quest for making my son's school costumes, I ran into a very nice lady who is looking to purchase plush to make costumes. She currently uses the local fabric store, but as a lot of us know, those are slowly fading away and she is finding it difficult to locate any and when she does, the selection is slim.
I pointed her towards Intercal and Edinburgh, but she needs 2 yards per costume, so thats not cost effective.
Does anybody know of a supplier with reasonable costs that I can direct her towards?
Thanks in advance for any info

I got that one yesterday too! I actually went to my ebay and checked my preferences to make sure it really hadnt been changed. Everything looked A-OK ...pheeew! That would be a nightmare if someone actually changed your email addy and password!
Thanks for the heads up Jodi!

I saw that ad Gaby...it was too funny! Who wants to buy a mug from a naked man....accckkk! I would never be able to drink out of that mug without the nasty image of him popping into my head *body shiver*
I dont have a favorite mug, but I do have alot of different mugs in the cupboard. I hate big mugs and leave those for hubby to eat ice cream out of (he LOVES his ice cream!) To me, big mugs are too heavy once they are full and by the time you get to the bottom of your cup, its ice cold.
Bear Hugs,
Kim
Oh Sonya, they are sooooooooooo sweet! I can see why you have decided to keep both of them *smiles*
Bear Hugs,
Kim
Whahooooooooo and a BIG congrats to you!!!
Enjoy your new found "free time"
Bear Hugs,
Kim
PS
For those of you who ship internationally and have customers who want ground service (crazy if you ask me, as it takes 4-6 weeks), it is no longer an option. International is now only air.
I went to ship a bear the other day. I put it in a box that was large enough to not crush the bear and ensure it would arrive safely.
I about fell over when she told me that because of the size of the box (after measuring it with her little tape), they would be charging me for 12lbs and it would be $28.95 (w/o insurance!!) I was angry to say the least. I drove all the way home and re-packaged the bear and for the same bear, it was now down to $18.95....how frusterating!!! Last week, this box would have cost me no more then $16 with insurance. They think they are making things better, but they are chasing all of us away. If we have to go by their ridiculious guidelines and pay these prices, we may as well use UPS and have them pick up at our front door.
I even had them measure one of thier own priority boxes to make sure it falls into their new guideline...how funny is that!!

You guys are the best! Thanks for all the ideas....Im excited to get started!
Now the hard part is decided which idea will work best for their needs. I want these to last for several years.
