I'm personally doing ok. I've been lucky enough to get at least 1 bid for the amount I put down which is really not alot considering all the work I put into them, basically covering for the supplies, but some people out there love the bear and that means alot to me

I think some people take advantage of dealing on ebay because your not actually face to face with that person so they tend to take their time sometimes. I wonder if she would do that or has done that with an actual store when putting something on layaway. In my case I have had 2 now that have just taken their time  on paying and I'm a punctual person paying right after an auction closing, wouldn't anyone want their stuff shipped as soon as possible? and I really think about the purchase before I bid on it and I would hate to ruin mine or someone elses feedback............but we are good honest people

thanks for advice ladies :hug: I put another bear up recently again and stated they must contact me within 2 days of auction closing to give me their method of payment. I see other bear artists have strict instructions on payments and now [since I'm newer to ebay] I can see why! :doh:

how awful!! sometimes I feel being a good and trusting person doesn't do us any good but it is such a big part of our soul! What comes around goes around :hug:

O,ne of my bears I listed on ebay sold and the auction ended on the 29th, anyhow I was waiting for contact since I mailed her the invoice, didn't hear anything so I sent her another message a couple days later, didn't hear anything then finally on the 4th she sent me a message apologizing and saying she had been having internet trouble. Ok, I understand, its the 5th tonight still no payment as she was saying she would pay me through paypal quickly. Tonight I was randomly looking at bears and I see she has been bidding on another 2 and the last bid on one was today! I am starting to get mad! and yet she has 100 positive feedback...... what to do?

I'm sooo sorry to hear that! but it's not your fault! Our cats like to sneek out whenever possible too and it's so hard to keep a cat indoors, and trying to catch them is another issue. I'm sure she will understand :hug:  :hug:

I'm totally with you on that! and thanks to you Ringo went to a good home :clap: I also have many degus [they had babies and I couldn't give them up ] and there was this one degu that is the sweetest thing and a guy had bought it for his snake, lets just say this snake was too small for a degu, so the degu kept biting the snake and the guy got mad and decided to slam the pooor degu against the wall!!!!!!! the little animal was having seizures and couldn't even walk when I rescued her. Her living conditions were pathetic! I took her home and gave her love, food and she is great now. She has a healthy appetite and always runs on her wheel. It still makes me sick to think of her torture a good ending though I HATE :twisted: people that are like that with animals!

so sorry to hear of your situation. Everyone here has said it all you must be devastated, but remember in awhile from now you probably will want to thank him for doing YOU a favor! it sounds like he has a miserable existence and he is just dragging you down with him! A beautiful person such as yourself deserves alot more happiness and love

I so love all animals and picking one that's not perfect is so me, as well as you Kathy and probably everyone here I'm more of the quiet type but when I see animal abuse I go BALISTIC!

thanks for the sweet words Here's the little story of Angel....... My daughter and I went to the pet store for stuff and spotted this baby guinea pig all by herself, so we told the people we wanted her and he said that one isn't for sale because she had a broken leg and I asked how that happened and the girl there proceeded to tell me that some teenagers came into the pet store and started to see how many guinea pigs they could step on! they were all on the floor in a pen. She told them to get out or she will call the cops[ I would of called them anyway!] but this little girl was the one that got hurt. I told them I don't care that she's hurt, I want her so he let me buy her. We named her Angel because she survived. It's amazing how much they can mean to us, these innocent little animals

I am so heartbroken we had a guinea pig named Angel, she was around 6 and a half yrs. old, she seemed to be quite fine yesterday although I noticed she wasn't drinking as much water for a hot day. I took her out of her cage for her daily cleaning around 8pm and she started panicking and running around and gasping for air, I didn't know what to do!!! besides run around and cry and panic myself!! The nearest vet that treats small animals is 35-40 minutes away! All I did was panic held her tried feeling her throat, maybe she was choking? it was like she had convulsions? twice and then she gone, passed away on my lap while I held her. I have never felt so helpless in my life Could I have saved her if I knew what to do? even the cats notice she's gone. We also had to put our little hamster to sleep yesterday because he was so sick and not reacting to antibiotics. The only thing the vets in this town do is put small animals to sleep if there is a very good reason. I am full of guilt with Angel. Does anyone here know what could of been wrong? a heart attack? I'm so so sad That's 5 animals in 2 years.......
