Thank you so much Bobbie and Charlotte ...
comments from a couple of experienced needle felters like yourselves,
makes me feel very honoured indeed!  bear_original

Tremayne.jpgI did post this little one under needle felting, but because he's only partialy needle felted I thought maybe it should be here. Anyway, I just finished Tremayne ... a needle felted face project for September's edition of ABC! Hope you like this little bear.

You can read all about him, there's a link on the bottom of my website opening page.

IMPORTANT! We don't work with

checks

but with banks payments only. Lots of frauds use raised

checks

while banks payments are unpickable. It's the main demand of our Security Department

Dead giveaway ... Aussies don't spell it that way (we spell it the same way as the Brits - cheques)  ... you would think these scammers would learn a little about the country they are representing!

Thanks Carolyn  bear_flower

Thank you so much  bear_flower Julie,  bear_flower Grace,  bear_flower Tami and  bear_flower Lynette.

Grace: The Graduate was inspired by my hubby's friend Michael who just recently graduated (as a mature age student) ... he's originally from Texas but has been in Australia for a long time...and just as cheeky as the bear!  bear_grin

Thanks Sarah ... they are part of my new Gainsborough Series ... my interpretation of Gainsborough's Blue Boy and Pink Boy using a little artistic licence! bear_grin  bear_grin  bear_grin

P.S. Common Law trademarks are shown with TM and registered trademarks are shown as an R within a circle as shown on my avatar.

bearlysane

Copyright is quite different to Trademark.
But I would recommend anyone serious about their business, register their business name as their Trademark. I have and I think it's worth every penny!
In Australia you can do this online with the Trademarks Office in Canberra. It takes quite some time to go through as it's posted in the Trademarks Journal for any businesses to contend and once it's accepted it's backdated till the time you submitted your name and is covered for 10 years.
I learned the importance of this from being in business previously and stopped two businesses from using our business name, without using a solicitor purely because we had the name registered at the Trademarks Office.
Hope this helps, I know it's different in each country but it's worth checking out.

Thanks Jodi... bear_flower

I wish there were more like you.

I regret that I never had the pleasure of meeting either Linda or Wally, but I'm well aware of their significance in the teddy bear world.  Such sad news.  Hugs and condolences to Linda and to all who knew and loved this treasured family!

Like Shelli, I have never met either of them, but I certainly have heard of them and I'm sure Wally will be missed by many.
My condolences to Linda and the family.

Thanks Sue Ann, Patsy and Ilze.    I appreciate your comments.

I guess what I'm most curious about, is how the colours are coming across to the viewers now.
For those on the older screens...are the colours too dark?
It's really hard to know what to do that's going to be best for the people looking at your site.
Anyone out there have any great ideas?
Hugs,

bearlysane

I have given my website a new look. The colours have also been adjusted for the flat computer screens.

If you get time...take a peek and let me know what you think.
