Well actually,I plan on making my 11 year old ,"monkey crazy " daughter a mohair monkey in the near future and will be looking for a really good pattern .I hope to take Judi's needle -felting course to do the face but in the meantime I was wondering if anyone out there has seen the "FurReal Chimp" put out by the company that makes the Love Cubs.I'm afraid my daughter will be very disappointed this Christmas        as this was her hearts desire.I didn't think it would be a problem but the only place they have appeared is Walmart and they only had three or four that were snapped up right away.I don't really want to get into a bidding war on ebay and cannot afford to pay dearly as my Christmas shopping money is gone at this point.
My smartie pants husband said today.... "Why didn't you ask one of your friends on the bear board if they have seen them"? It was kind of like a knock on the noggin   :doh:  because if I had been smart,I would have posted for help a few weeks ago and had time to send one of you the money to get me one if they are available.I know it's too late now but I'm wondering if any of you have seen them.

I know I'm a bit late (what else is new  :redface:     ) Here is a picture of my three. Tanner (14) holding Cassie the cat, Hayden (13) holding Kobe the dog and my baby,Brenna (11) holding her latest passion,a monkey.Oh by the way,if anyone has a really good monkey pattern they would like to share,that would be awesome.I'm thinking of needle felting the face but I'll have to ask Judi's advice on that    (hi Judi        ) This is their Christmas picture and I did some editing at the store when I printed them but have not touched up this shot.

Oh,I'm so nervous,there is an address in Atlanta ,a hotmail address and a phone number. The email does say they saw my wonderful item (just like the Nigerian ones) and that they would like to order my item.It then says to contact them if there is a problem or if the item is no longer available. I emailed and told them I would get the postage price to Atlanta and contact them today. Oh , I don't know what to think.

Hi .I just received a message from Bear  :hug:  Pile saying that I had an order for a bear.I have been listed on Bear Pile for a few months now but have never been contacted by anyone until now.Please help me to know what I should do next.How do I accept payment to my paypal through there instead of ebay which is the only thing I know? How do I make sure it is "for real" and not a scam. I have had my share of wonky emails lately and I am a bit nervous.   :doh:   Please help me figure this all out so I don't leave this poor buyer hanging for too long.Thanks,Shari.  :hug:

I wish for all the wonderful things listed in this thread such as world peace,no hurricanes etc. I have always wanted a horse but have given up hope (been promised one that has never arrived too many times) and I pray to be able to finish my Christmas shopping before the lay-offs at my husbands work reach us. He may be safe until April when there is talk of the whole plant closing so I also wish that that does not happen.
Hmm,sorry,a bit depressing I guess.Oh,I would love to have a bookcase and a second bathroom for my three kids.

Hmm,I guess this could be my music favorite/ secret thing that people don't know about me....... I love all different kinds of music and my tastes vary but i must admit that Harry Chapin touches my soul deeply. I don't mean the song Taxi or Cat's In the Cradle (the songs that they would actually play on the radio) but a great deal of his other songs.   :redface: There,that's my big confession.

Yippee,report cards are finally finished (still have to pass them out) and I only have 2.5 days of teaching booked for this week so far.I'm thinking I may actually get to work on a bear this week and do some sewing and Christmas shopping.Wish me luck.       :dance:  :dance:
